Please read till the end !I like this, I was expecting something different, tho this is ok with me.. I was expecting different readouts, tho what it does is it cycles back and forth from one side to the other so it's not a consistent view of both batteries at the same time.. tho that's ok.. I was hoping that the unit would help show the life of the battery when plugged in, tho it doesnt.. the unit needs to be plugged in to have it on and once you put the batteries in it starts to charge.. I'm using a AA nickel rechargeable batteries so I'm not sure what's the correct start of it, but I love the fact it shows how many mAh the battery is has and will be so I know I'm getting the full charge.. it also shows the power current that the batteries are being charged at.. I prefer the charge to be a low power recharge so as to prolong the batteries.. oh you could try to charge you batteries fast, tho I'd rather have them last. I also love the fact that the unit uses a usb plug to access power, so I use my cell phone charging block for access.. you can also plug it into anything that has a usb port that can give power.. shoot, I bet you could plug it into your smart tv and even if i use my usb port adapter from my phone i could use my cell phone to charge my batteries, tho it would kill my phone lol.. anyway, I just wanna say that I love this product and you should get it too.. I only charge AAs at this time, but that's all I need for now.. it's very small, compact and not heavy.. hope you enjoy this product too

Very good charger with a live display of the charge with an important gaping between the batteries to allow you to reach each battery without forcing the edges or removing the next battery while charging. The downfall is the usb cable to connect from the charger to the power source, it’s extremely short and almost impossible to connect anywhere. It’s not even 5 inches long I would say it’s 3 inches long. Please correct that not practical for a charger at all.

Batteries are too expensive and are difficult to recycle. Get yourself a good set of rechargeables and a charger such as this one. It can handle several sizes, four at a time, and you'll recoup your cost in the first year. This unit has a good digital/graphic display showing charging progress and level of charge in the batteries so you'd know when they are ready to use. It has a relatively short USB cord and does not come with it's own transformer, so you'll need to have one on hand. I have a multiport USB charging block that I use with mine and it works just fine. Good product!

Works great and it's size is good for backpacking which is exactly what I'm going to use this for, to charge my GPS batteries. I love that it's USB and would 100% recommend this product.Be aware that the display cycles through each batteries information every few seconds, also the display doesn't seem to go off like the four slot one. And lastly, each charger comes with plastic over the LCD display. Don't make the same mistake I did and think there isn't one, there is, it just doesn't look like there is. All you have to do is pick at one of the corners and it comes off.

This DOTTMON LCD charger has four independent bays that I use for charging all my rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. I've already put a battery in backward by accident and the reverse polarity protection kicked in. Very nice. I love the way the LCDs indicate how much charging is left. When all is said and done the charger shuts off and waits until you pop your next battery in. What a great charger. Charges fast, but not so fast as to make your battery HOT HOT HOT. With a little practice you can easily release all four batteries at once by turning upside down and pulling on each individual battery release all at the same time. Don't know if I'd ever need to to that or that I'd be in that much of a rush, but I did check it out that you can do it that way.This is one of the easiest loading / unloading battery chargers I have ever owned.UPDATE: 6/17/2021 I had only intended to use this for AA/AAA batteries. I have a security flashlight that takes a slightly larger battery. I've been searching high and low for the charger cable to no avail. Well this DOTTMON charger takes on all of my stick batteries now. Including the 18650 battery that I am now charging in my DOTTMON charger. Would buy again and recommend to a friend. Was hesitant at first due to being a bit more, but this charger does a whole lot more. :)

I thought this worked good. Was able to fit batters in and charge.First problem it you can't tell how charged a battery is, just how much it's been charging since its been inserting.Second problem which makes this worthless, is it can't charge batteries that are completely dead, it says error.After going through so many Tenergy branded batteries and even getting free replacements from the company I ended up taking some more "dead" batteries that showed error after the second charge and using my father's 20-30 year old GE branded charger. It worked fine and got the batteries charged. Now when I put them into this charger it shows they are charging so obvious they were not "error"Avoid this charger unless you want to unknowing throw good batteries away.
