Black Rice (aka Wild Sweet Purple Rice)

Absolutely fantastic rice! Very flavorful rice, yummy!

I decided to add this rice to my chicken soup. I often add wild rice and decided to try the purple rice. The chicken and veggies in the soup turned purple and the broth was a burgundy wine color. It still tasted like chicken soup, but it sure looked strange.
