Was thankful the find this on Amazon every store I search had no ideas there next shipment would come in . But thanks to Amazon I found it and now my ceiling is perfect

product. was exactly what we needed. We have rental apartments and the local store stopped carrying this product. We were happy to find it here. Works wonders if a repair is needed so the ceiling looks good as it blends without having to remove entire ceiling (which would a huge expense).

I had used this "exact" product many years ago with limited success. While it was tricky, it had worked with some hand work necessary after the fact. This time, following all instructions, the product was abysmal. Half the time, it came out like an upside-down soft serve ice cream dispenser and plopped on the floor. The instructions said to hold the nozzle 20-30" from the ceiling. If I had done that, absolutely none of the material would have ever made it to the ceiling. What a disappointment, and not one that is easily cleaned up and fixed. I'm going with hand stippling on AP joint compound or patching plaster. I don't hate anyone enough to offer them my one unused can of this stuff.

I really dont want to leave a bad review, but I expected more from this product. I followed the instructions to a T and it looked like it hardly covered what I needed it to (appeared very thin & can still see whats underneath). The end result i got was kind of stringy/flaky. Not popcorn like the picture on the can. It really just ended up making a big mess. Now, maybe if you shake the can for a longer or shorter period of time than instructed, it will spray differently? I havent tested that. And maybe I should have sprayed MORE of it to create a thicker look. But it was just so stringy and not looking how I expected so i didnt want to apply too much. Maybe I'll mess around with it some more and be able to offer more tips in application in the future, but as of right now- it didnt work well for me. Even though I really wanted it to.

This is not the aerosol can that empties is 2 seconds. Mine lasted at least 30 seconds - enough for several repairs. My vaulted ceiling has high texture popcorn. To increase the texture, you can hold the can much closer - perhaps 8 inches and come pretty close to a match by building up with a second application. To control the over spray, I made my own cardboard box enclosure, held it against the ceiling with one hand, sprayed up inside it with the other. All you need is a drop cloth on the floor - hardly any mess at all.

This product works terrific, though I would caution anyone using to make sure anything in the surrounding area that isn't to be treated with it is well covered.

I purchased this product despite some of the bad reviews. I should have listened to the critics. It did not work as advertised. The end result looked nothing like popcorn texture. The older product from the same company works much better. I Emailed Amazon and they did refund my money. Stay away from the new version of this product.

Used for ceiling patch coverage. Looks great, can’t distinguish the product from the original texture.
