EMI INCREASED.
Not deep into electrical filtering back ground, but tried this for EMI 120vac noise ; it increased it 200 mv. Now useless to me for my application. Cannot say there are any problems with product, but likely my application. Think I need a 'T' configuration for choke, this is parallel. Guessing at this tiime.

Absolutely THE total answer to our electrical noise problem - 5 stars!!
First, maybe a bit of an explanation is due here... We have an 86 year old home that was once a 'rental unit' but has now had virtually EVERYTHING in the home replaced and renewed (infrastructure-wise). Plumbing, drains, heating, doors and windows, lighting, actual insulation in the walls (y'know, of course, 'insulated walls' are a relatively newer concept, right?) ... as well as a total and much needed rewiring of everything, from top to bottom. So imagine our frustration after more than 25 years of (seemingly) constant "repair and renew" efforts, that when I bought my wife a new clothes washer and dryer last year, EVERY time the new Speed Queen 'Commercial-grade' washer 'fired up', the 100% electronic controls caused a 'feedback' issue into the electric circuitry, which OF COURSE made a horrendous 'digital static' noise in the line-powered intercom we spent a virtual fortune on about 15 years ago. Since it only happened when the washer was beginning the first of the seven cycles it offers, I knew precisely what was causing the noise. And as a retired 'techno-nerd', I remembered a class I once took (more than a few years ago than I'll admit to..) about proper grounding and electrical noise mitigation. So it occurred to me to look into a 'line voltage noise filter' as an 'isolation device' solely for this 'techie' washing machine. Oh wow... this worked SO fantastically well. Absolutely NO noise now throughout the house, and I am once again 'the hero' in our home. so, I just HAD to come and give this product a 5-star review immediately after I got this hooked up and 'tested', less than 20 minutes ago. And "The Boss" is ecstatic too, which is even more important, if you know what I mean ...(?)
