This device is perfect for such a situation. It is simple and discrete, doesn't look out of place in the situation, produces good quality video and excellent audio and doesn't cost a crazy price.It's hard to find any negatives to this device, great for recording meetings and well worth the money.

Perfect looking and works great. Pleased it comes with an SD card and it’s rechargeable so you don’t have to fiddle with batteries. The only problem I noticed is that after putting on video recording and leaving it on, it only recorded a number of 10-min videos but then stopped and the last video and the following one I recorded manually stopped after much less than the custom 10 minutes, basically like there was no more space on the card — but the card is 32GB and it only used barely 10. Everything else is great though. IfI had to add anything else I would make it so that it can record in landscape mode even when the pen is in horizontal, laying on a table. Considering the price, I’m very happy with this.

I got this pen and tried it out, it only worked when the SD card was formatted before each use and the picture when recorded had interference.I bought a new SD card and the pen now works with a decent recording picture.The pen is however very fiddly to use and take a lot of practice to make sure you get the correct mode, I thought I was recording video and turned out I was recording 3 minutes of Audio which was pointless for my purpose. So practice makes perfect to get the correct mode.

Excellent for the money. Looks like a pen, writes like a pen and it’s a video, audio and picture recorder. Picture quality and audio is surprisingly very good. Control/push button on the top of the pen jams occasionally but easily readjusts and it’s not a deal breaker.Motion detection is very short range but it works and the leds are tiny and not visible when operating. Nice to write with too, well worth the money.The shirt clip easily pops off, mine hasn’t come off completely fortunately because it looks as if the camera may be attached to this somehow. I’ve prized the clasp up slightly and put a drop of superglue to secure it. Still happy with my purchase. Thanks.

I wanted this for recording my commute after getting into an altercation at a tube station one evening. There are too many problems with it to recommend it:The controls are fiddly. There is only one button, which you press for different lengths of time to perform different actions. You click once to turn it one, then hold it down for about three seconds to start recording. Hold it down for too long and it turns off, too short and it does motion detection I think. This also means you can't turn it on quickly.The battery only lasts for about an hour's recording, so with an hour long commute in the morning and the same at night it needs charging multiple times a day.Sometimes it will record for about 10 seconds then stop. Unless you are looking at the LED to see it flash when it stops you'll think it's still recording. I think this might be due to low battery but it's not clear.It doesn't automatically overwrite the oldest video if the flash card is full. Instead the LED flashes something like 5 times then the device turns off, so you can't use it until you take out the card and plug it into something that can delete the old files.The time isn't remembered, instead it's read from a file on the flash card. So you'd have to edit that every time you take out the card to keep the time even vaguely correct.

The pen is functioning so won't ring any alarm bells if someone wants to use it and it can be left on a desk and be set to activate on motion detection.Great quality video in lit rooms but not great in low lighting / darkness. The controls do take a bit of getting used to but once you learn them it's straight forward. The battery could be better but does over an hour of continuous recording.It's not stupidly priced and I think what you get for the money is fair and reasonable.
