Barrio Fiesta Ginisang Bagoong Sauteed Shrimp Paste - Sweet 8.85oz (250g)

I really love Barrio Fiesta bagoong. The taste is well-balance salty with just the right depth of shrimp flavor.

Order arrived in good shape. It took a little longer than expected but I finally received it tonight.

I cannot eat kare-kare without a lot of bagoong. Last weekend my local Asian market was, for some reason, completely out of all brands and types of bagoong. It was more expensive to buy from these guys, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find how fresh it was. And so tasty!In the future I’m only getting my bagoong from these guys.

I buy this product all the time. When you buy Bagoong it can be off tasting, depending on the manufacturer. THIS ONE IS ALWAYS GREAT TASTING, RIGHT ON THE MONEY!

When I opened the package, I had oil from the jar contents all over the inside of the wrapping. While the lid was on, it was loose enough that some of the oil inside seeped out. It was even outside the packaging. Not something I expected to be a problem, but I doubt I'll order again as this could cause spoilage or illness (it is supposed to be refrigerated after opening).

I used it for green mangoes nom nom nom. You can also use it for Kare-Kareng Baka or Ox tail if that's what you like. Will try to make Korean kimchi with this next time.

Jar wasn’t sealed upon arrival. Bagoong was all over bubble wrap and not safe to eat.

I love this food but the jar was broken by the time it got to me. I had to throw it away. Even if item said you can’t return, I let Amazon/Seller know and they gave me a refund back. Nice!
