Works great with my large fountain. I have it low since it will produce a lot of water if you have it high. I don’t have enough space for my fountain to do that, so didn’t want to waste water. Product is great and exactly how described.

Pump was a replacement in a waterfall we got from Home Depot. It works just fine. More gpm is not always better as it can cause excess water to splash out and require more refilling of the waterfall. This pump provides a steady flow with no spillage.

Beware of what you are buying this product for and do your research beforehand.I bought this to circulate the water in my 55 gallon Turtle tank without really knowing how powerful these pumps can be and for that reason I am grateful this model allows me to adjust how strong of a current I can get because I not only blew all the tank Deco's clear to the other side of the tank (this includes four large hides and about ten artificial plants) I also flipped my turtle head-over-tail and he landed on a pile of all his hideouts. Anyone that has ever been on the receiving end of a Turtle's dirty look (even though he wasn't hurt anywhere except his pride) knows how painful and degrading it can be.

This is a powerful little pump! Pay attention to the GPM. This one will shoot over the patio roof if I don’t adjust it hahaha perfect.

Have not installed this one yet. It is a spare. However I have used two others. The second one is in service now. I use them in an outdoor evap air conditioner. The water around here is so hard I go thru one every year or so. I took the first one out the other day. It was so corroded up it would not run. So I changed out and the new pump puts out enough water to keep my medium wet. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. I have a 51" fountain I needed a pump replacement for. This is a good pump, but on the lowest setting had too much lift for what I needed. When I ordered, I figured I would turn it down low then it wouldn't have to work so hard - but still way too much power and overflowed my fountain. Turning it down to the lowest setting also made it vibrate more. There is no doubt that if you needed 7.5ft of lift as it's rated - it will easily do it. I'm going to go down to a smaller pump as I need about 4.5ft of lift.

Bought this as an upgrade to my old pump as it failed. Pump works fine but produces too much heat for my tank turning on my chiller more. Going to have to go a diffent route.

The media could not be loaded. Nice pump. Certainly more powerful than the one we replaced. Let’s see how long it lasts :) It took a while to determine the flow. The water pressure appears to be set at one level and then, a short time later, the flow would decrease. The relaxing sound that the fountain produces barely covers the sound of the pump. If you are near the fountain, you can definitely hear the hum. The plug was almost too large to fit into the fountain’s inner pipe.
