Excellent product.

I know nothing about patching drywall or joint compounds. In fact I originally bought this to texture some exterior concrete, realizing Now, it's the wrong stuff as it says exterior. HOWEVER, I JUST patched my exterior covered porch post and am hoping my paint will work on it in all kinds of weather. I will now use it to patch a few drywall places cause it is so easy to use. And the color is good, whitish gray. The only thing I would improve is tye lid, as it is hard removing the lid. No odor either as I am supersensitive.

Cost effective if you don’t need a whole bucket of it.

For the size of the container, the Joint Compound was very expensive. I guess I forgot how much water weighs, so I'll take the credit for this mistake. Also, because it was very wet, it takes a long time to dry. In 70F temp with 30% dry humidity, my hole repairs took about 8 hours to harden. I was also shocked at the shrinkage, as I typically use sheetrock 45 and make my own mix on a hawk - I don't notice that mix shrinking nearly as much. On a good note, it applies dark grey and then dries to white. 2nd application worked well as did the sanding. Material set up very hard and works well, has great coverage and adhesion. A minor annoyance was the dried mud stuck to the plastic lid which flaked into the clean mud surface when the lid was opened. All in all - it works well for small do-it-yourself projects, albeit at an expensive price.

Very satisfied with this purchase

This is a basic, but essential item to have on hand for drywall work. Since I needed to do a fairly small repair job (about 9 or so sq ft), it was nice to be able to get it in a small container versus the 1 gallon tubs. Even so, an even smaller container would be nice.It comes with a shrink wrapped plastic band on the top to keep the lid shut during transit. It arrived in perfect shape. Performance has been fine - no complaints at all.

Worked great with the patch kit

This stuff is perfect for patch work. It seems to take more time to dry than other brands I've used so will stay gray for quite a while. It does dry into an off white though. It's easy to sand this down after application if needed and it spreads easily while also being adhesive.
