it’s a super cool present for a kid as a child I always dream to have one of those, now I have my own child and I could finally buy it. I love that steam is coming out of it. It’s a super cool addition. Quality is also pretty good. It’s a really fun toy for your toddler it works really well. The tracks are stable. It’s not heavy and not too small or too big.

I saw this train set on Amazon while searching for a birthday gift for my 6 year old grandson. I had good reviews and has a fairly large track, so I gave it a try. The track can be made into a circle, or an oval over 70 inches wide. It is powered by a single rechargeable battery Like AA). It only came with one. This seems to me to be the weakest part of the entire arrangement, but the first charge I gave it allowed the train to run for over an hour. It has an adapter that connects to any USB outlet, and has a red light that goes out when the battery is fully charged. You can put water for the smoke featute into the gold plug on top of the engine, beside the smoke stack, but it seems to take a while for water to work its way into the engine before it initially began to "smoke". Tip: I would use distilled water for this, (just as you would in a steam iron). When you switch on the engine, it has one click that allows the sound of the engine/bell to be heard. If you get tired of this audio, there is a further click to run in silent mode. When turned on, the train has a short delay before it moves. I like this, as it gives the child time to let go of the engine before it starts moving. Show your child how to connect the cars together , so they do not break the car connectors. You have to come in at a slight angle to do it. It comes with 3 cars, two large and one smaller one. I think any child of a good age (5 or above) will enjoy this train set.

It actually steams!!! I got this to around the bottom of my Christmas’s tree and my sons would watch it for hours. The train easily went on the tracks and went round and round. Very easy to put together

This was the biggest piece of crap I have ever bought for anybody. I thought if i spent more money it would be better quality than the other trains but this train is garbage. My kid was so happy to get it on Christmas but it slowly turned out to fail more and more as time went on. I didnt have huge expectations for the steam.. I actually would have still given a good review if it had at least had steam just 1 time. The little container of steam oil was empty.. not sure if it was supposed to have something in it but I put in some brand new cooking oil like it said, but no steam. That was the part that sold me on this train so that was a huge disappointment for me that my son kept asking for this train to do what it was supposed to do for days and I keep having to tell him its broken. Also within a couple of days the wheels started popping off. The plastic is the flimsiest kind of plastic. It probably wont last a month. If a grown man stepped on it it would probably be crushed to smitherines. Do not buy this train. Terrible quality.Update: everything broke the next day after I wrote this review. All the wheels fell off and wouldn't go back on and the flimsy tracks too. He was so sad I had to get him a different train that was cheaper, better, and has bubbles lol

The product works well... sort of.Firstly, the product didn't come with instructions, which isn't too disappointing since it is somewhat simple, but figuring out the water and smoke situation was a little frustrating. This leads me to the next problem:The smoke, barring I did anything wrong, was very underwhelming, and took a very close look to even see.To cut it short, this a more of a basic train that could be used every Christmas and lost to storage for the year. Not worth the money for the marketing.

The media could not be loaded. Train comes with a good amount of track, I bought it for Xmas so I just used the full round track. For being an inexpensive train it has wonderful details and being battery operated makes it self-contained and easy to set up. The smoke feature is not dramatic, we filled it multiple times and we’re only able to get a little bit of smoke out, but it’s not a big deal to me personally at this price point and no fear of kids breaking it either.
