These were pretty easy to install and gave my 2001 911 Turbo a much needed lighting improvement and look at night. It is white light, not like the old yellow lights. This is a great bang for your buck for interior mods especially if you have the carbon fiber interior package. It really makes it pop!

I was a little apprehensive to buy this considering the review that they didn’t work for someone’s 996, but they worked for mine. I love that they come packaged individually in boxes, marked with which bulb they are (usually two to a small box), and give you the location and letter type that corresponds.The quality of the product is great and so is the direct output of clean light. This has changed the interior look and brightened up the tag lights, frunk area, and engine bay, which I didn’t even know had a light until I saw the diagram. The shipping was worth the week or more wait!They have been in the car for only few days now, so I will update at a later date!

I bought these hoping to replace my incandescent bulbs with more efficient, cooler, longer lasting LEDs. The original bulbs in the 996 all get hot enough that extended operation can melt the housing. Prior owner demonstrated that by melting the drivers side taillight by leaving the reverse light on too long. The problem with these LED's is that they are just as hot. A door led fell out while I was installing it. It had been lit for ~1 minute. I mistakenly picked it up. I was like the little Nazi guy from Indiana Jones! I seriously could have reproduced the led circuit from the burns on my fingers.Whats the point then? It's just as hot, so it's using just as much power, and it's just as likely to melt or burn out. From a high level standpoint the only appreciable difference is a higher K value (whiter white). If you really insist on your car having 4000K convenience lights instead of 2500K then go for it. Otherwise don't waste your time or money.

I have this kit installed in all three of my 996 Turbos, they fit and work great and each bulb is labeled well.

Bulbs all work great. Be careful to put correct bulbs in proper locations. I inadvertently put the door bulbs in the dome lights and they have a thicker construction and are difficult to insert (rightfully so). Otherwise good value, and they brighten up the interior.

I like the look of the bulbs that did fit. But none of the festoon bulbs were long enough.

Some bulbs were slightly bigger where I had to bend the contacts to accommodate the bulbs.they did all fit and look great. for the price, can't complain at all. The cost of this kit is the cost of one bulb at the auto parts store

Simple to install, directions tell you which bulbs go where!
