I liked this brush set because it gave me different types of brushes. So far I've had no real issues with the brushes and they work smoothly. The paint on one of the handles did crack however, but that was because I left it soaking it water overnight. If you're looking to buy these, they're definitely worth the price though. I would just suggest not to leave them soaking in water for a long time like I did. Rinsing and drying them right after use is probably the best way to take care of these. If you do accidentally leave them soaking in water though, it's only the paint that splits, not the actual wooden handle.

It’s hard to believe you can get brushes of this quality at this price. It’s a phenomenal set for beginners or well-seasoned painters. The variety of brushes is nice. These clean up easily and are definitely well worth the purchase price.

I am very new at water colors, so didn't want to invest a lot of money until I had some idea if I wanted to pursue it. I purchased this set of brushes at a very low cost and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Again, I am inexperienced, so maybe I don't know what I should expect, but so far they are working well. They do stain very quickly but that has not affected the way they apply the color.

I recommend these. You get your money's worth. They are nice.

I ordered these because of the reduced price. I have been away from my art for some years and wanted to get back into painting and drawing. These brushes are much better quality than I anticipated for the price. They arrived quickly and undamaged. The bristles are soft, well tapered and not loosely bound to the handle. The handles feel good in my grip. Hopefully these brushes will last me a few years, with proper care. I would purchase again.

This assorted brush set adapts to every situation I encountered for intricate, precise painting. The bristles don't separate after heavy use and hold up well after repeated cleaning. With 2 separate projects going on simultaneously I fully expect them to not only complete the task at hand but also many more. Needless to say if you like clean lines and an aray of even brushstrokes... you won't be disappointed.

I needed brushes for a beginner level watercolor class. I didn't want the students to spend a lot of money an but needed to have good quality brushes. The brushes worked fine.

Decent brushes but you essentially get what you pay for. The ferrule on some brushes aren't properly glued so they will fall off or feel clunky unless you tape them up yourself.
