Works great for my college flashcards! Stores more than two packs of index cards!

Bought this to hold my many 5X8 recipe cards, but was reluctant to buy a plastic one as I have two wooden ones. The plastic ones tend to warp at the latch area, but this one doesn't seem to be heading in that direction. I feel it's quite sturdy and stiff enough at the latch point that it will not warp or indent to keep the lid from closing properly. So far, happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Used this to write cute notes to my husband while we were dating! Thought I got the one for regular 3" x 5" but this is the bigger 4" x 6" size. A bit tricky to close but worked great for my needs.

Great for the price! It has 3 settings in light level. I got this to use with index cards, I wanted to make flashcards for my zoo lab and copy the model images onto index cards. It works! You can clearly see the images on the paper behind the index card. My only 2 small issues were this: first it came to me with a handful of scratches on it and second, it only lights when plugged in. I had hoped it could charge up and be used unplugged for awhile, but this is not the case. It comes with a USB power connection. You will need to purchase the wall plug in if you don't have one for a USB. Cords around 3-4 feet long from what I could tell.Anyway, I tried to buy one of these from Hobby Lobby store last year and it was over $100 there, so to get something of similar lighting quality I'm happy for this price!

I needed a 5x8 index card holder, and at the present time cannot afford to spend much money. I found this one that was within my budget, and it seemed to get good reviews, so I bought it. I just went and filled it up with whatever index cards I have, and the dividers. I went to close it, and I could not; it took several times until the top finally stayed closed. If it was a card box that I would constantly be using daily, I'd keep it open anyway, but that's not the case. So, buyer beware--the PROS are that it does hold quite a bit of cards (mine is not full); the CONS are that it does NOT shut properly, and will take several times for you to finally get it closed.

I just wanted a light weight, inexpensive card box to hold my recipes and this box is working out great. Upon arrival the box was packaged in the open position and the plastic hinge was a bit stiff from the cold weather. So, I used a small heat gun to gently warm up the hinge area and this allowed for a more flexible working hinge. As for the box size - it would easy hold 400+ cards and room to allow for cards with index tabs. The box is sturdy and the top lid will open with gentle prying up with a thumb. Now I have a nice box to house and organize my few and delicious recipes. Really glad a made this purchase.

Horrible and flimsy. Does not close, even with nothing in it. Just terribly made.
