For the money....this is a great guitar.
This is one of the few acoustic 7-string guitars made on the planet. Having adopted 7-string guitars recently into my style, I thought I'd give it a try, especially considering the low cost of admission for this instrument. Background: I'm a guitar player and luthier. I don't make acoustics but I do work on them. I play casually, retired from touring. The guitar itself is decently made. The wood it's made of is sturdy enough and is fairly resonant. The construction is a unique bolt-on design with the neck bolts located on the fretboard (!) but they don't interfere with playability at all. The cutaway gives you access to the upper frets on the treble side.Fret-wise - they are medium-small size, decently installed, level enough to not have any dead spots, and with no sharp fret ends. One of the first things I typically have to do to any new guitar is dress the frets because factory frets are usually not filed very well and have sharp ends (I'm looking at you, Fender USA). On this guitar there were a few rough spots but not enough to require immediate attention. The fretboard is quite flat, typical for a dreadnought acoustic. The neck shape is a medium C shape, not too shallow and not too deep. Out of the box the guitar had slack strings; I tuned it to BEADGBE and the truss rod did not require adjustment; there was about 1/32" relief at the 9th fret tuned up.The headstock has a nice laser-engraved "Sun City" logo. The tuners are absolute garbage. The G string tuner would actually skip the gear on a broken tooth. I rectified this temporarily by moving the gear to a different section of the post. I also contacted the seller, who graciously sent out a parts kit with a couple of extra tuners. This is excellent customer service and the seller should be commended. The nut appears to be bone, and is well made. It's sanded to a rough finish but could easily be polished. The saddle is the compensated type and is plastic. The bridge is nicely shaped and feels good under the hand. Inside the guitar is a Sun City sticker, with handwritten serial number and model designation of "DC-7".How does it sound? It's brand new and hasn't really been broken in yet, and I have not changed out the stock strings. That said, it's got a pretty nice, full sound to it, with a lot of midrange and some high-end sparkle. I was able to play most 6-string cowboy chords on it without issue and even going up the neck in solos it holds together. The low B string is surprisingly in-your-face, but as expected, does tend to go out of tune when played hard. Moving to a heavier low B string should fix that issue.Overall I've quite happy with the guitar and also happy to help support our friends in Lviv, Ukraine where the guitar was made. Highly recommended. 4 stars only because of the crappy tuners - the rest of the guitar is quality kit.

Fair price, decent guitar
Came with sharp frets and a very dry fretboard. Does look good tho, and the upper register access is nice. Not bad at all!
