Q: How do I mix this. What is the ratio of water to mix ? No instructions came with it

I searched online and found the following ratio when mixing mine: Pour 1-1/4 level cups of Lightweight Hydrocal slowly into 1/2 cup water (2.5:1 ratio). Let stand for 2 minutes, then stir for 1 minute. Mix thoroughly.

Q: does this work like POP? mix with water, hardens quickly and is porous when it dries? does it dry white?

Yes, it is similar to plaster of Paris. It begins to set within minutes and it’s completely hardened within about 30 minutes. I have used it to create mother molds as well as making plaster Christmas ornaments to paint.
