I purchased this battery for a Invisible Pet Fence Controller back up battery, my battery which was original had gone bad after many years and was presenting a slow beep and red indicator light. After reading other reviews, I fully expected to have to replace the connector, With some very basic tools, Automotive Wire Cutters/Crimpers and cheap insulated male and female connectors 16-22 awg, you can easily do this yourself. I happen to have all of these tools already but for probably less than 20 bucks you can buy the supplies needed on top of an already cheap battery. This is still a heck of a deal considering if you were to purchase the battery directly from Invisible Pet Fence This costs $58.00.

Avoid like the plague.
Shipment was delayed and damaged. Case was cracked. It was not leaking so I installed the battery. Lasted only one month.

It worked
Ordered this battery to replace the old one in my invisible fence box. The connector is a little different but I was able to push it in and the unit is now back in with battery backup. Saved a lot compared to the one offered by the company themselves.

Installation hardware was not obvious. Thought it was missing, finally found tucked into hidden pocket of one battery.

Works Great
It works great to power 12V stuff. I didn't buy this for an alarm system or anything like that, just for my own projects, so I don't need the connector that comes with it. It was difficult to find the mating connector for what is included, so I ended up just cutting it off and soldering my own barrel connector onto it. This is one of the smallest 12V lead acid batteries I've been able to find, so this is a nice gem in a sea of large SLAs.

The replacement batteries are working fine.
I used the batteries to rebuild the battery pack for my lawn mower. The replacement batteries fit in the battery pack housing perfectly and all the wiring connections were just right making the job easy. I charged the battery for 18 hours, put the rebuilt battery pack in my mower and started mowing. The batteries provided plenty of power and quite a good battery life before needing charging again.
