The battery on my 2017 Alienware 17 R4 was completely dead. Upon opening the case, it was puffy...and obvious sign of expiration. I bought the Fancy Buying HF25D Laptop Battery for Dell Alienware R4. It exactly matched the OEM battery, and fit perfectly in both size, shape, and connection. The kit even included a small screwdriver, though I used my own tool set. The laptop fired up with no issues, and immediately started charging. Within an hour or so the battery was fully charged, and as instructed, I unplugged it to let the battery discharge. I don't expect it to replace the OEM battery perfectly in terms of power storage or longevity, but the laptop is nearly nine years old. If my 12-year-old son wasn't using it for gaming, it would already be at the recycling center. This affordable battery replacement will extend the life for another year or two until we are ready to get him something better.

DEll E6530 and fit well. Charged right up. Battery did only last 3 hours before drained however.

Works well on my Dell XPS 13. Used over a month and maintains charge. Initial 94% capacity, now 90% capacity.Appreciated the provided screwdriver but for laptop, I also needed a larger one for some screws.

My Dell Inspiron 5402 would not complete the Bios self check and failed with this new battery installed saying it was incompatible and would not charge. Re-installed the original battery and all POST checks of the Bios passed ok. I'll stick with the original battery with reduced battery life.

Dell computers (in my experience) are known for cheap components like batteries/motherboards. (I learned that the hard way). I have had 3 old laptops (two of them I have thrown away) and the batteries failed in every one of them. In contrast, my 3 comparable old Toshiba laptops are working well to this day, and the batteries have never been replaced. (I had 2 expensive Dell desktops that also bit the dust). Dell and Boeing! (Toshiba or HP is my choice for laptops or desktops). Anyway the new battery is working well and I upgraded the Dell 7720 laptop to windows 10. It's amazing to have an old Dell computer that works.
