Really good mouse. Comfortable, reliable, precise.
The black one is the one to go for if you want a colour that lasts and it's also cheaper than the identical grey Surface one.It has a very good scroll wheel with two settings. The thumb buttons are great - I have customised the middle one to open the task view with the multitasker and timeline.A stand out feature would be the three devices you can pair to and easily switch in between using the button underneath. It can pair to even more I think. You can even set it up to simultaneously work across devices when you go from one devices screen to another. You have to set that up in the app.Downsides: they need to make a new model with USB type C as it is currently micro USB. The app is an old school programme that you can't download from the Microsoft Store so that sucks. Not sure if the app will work on S Mode devices.Unfortunately, during a fit of rage totally unrelated to the mouse I ended up repeatedly throwing it on the ground and this resulted in the scroll wheel breaking so there's that. The mouse rattles now but surprisingly it otherwise works fine. Just don't go proactively repeatedly smashing it at various angles on the cold hard ground and you'll be set.

Perfect Mouse
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant! Is this the perfect mouse? Probably. It is a good size and is comfortable in the hand, the mechanics have excellent tight tolerances, the response is so smooth.Battery life is amazing. In-built battery.I like that you can use Bluetooth or wired connection.I love that you can switch between three computers using the button underneath, and that there are LED indicators for which one you are paired with.In fact I wish that the surface keyboard that kinda matches this would also have the option to switch between three different computers in this way - it would be like having a KVM switch but without the nonsense.

Comfortable mouse
Managed to get this for a good price and I'm glad I changed to this mouse. It is very comfortable to use and the buttons are all within easy reach. Nice touch to be able to use it with Bluetooth and via cable which made setup easy. I've had no dropouts on connection and the track is accurate on the screen. The Microsoft companion software is easy to use and the buttons are able to be customized. Very easy to pair with Windows 10.

Fantastic mouse as long as you don't play games
I have 3 of these mice and they are great! Scrolling is a dream and everything is great. But! There are bugs..1. The mouse will ever so slightly jump to the left every now and then.2. Buttons will stick down (in software, not physically) sometimes.3. Occasional drop of input for a few seconds when gaming. This has been seen across 3 different machines and 3 different mice.I use it for day to day as those aren't terrible issues and honestly the mouse is so nice that I just deal with it.But for games, I have to switch to a different mouse.

Love this mouse!
This feels like a well made product. Lovely to hold in the hand. Perfect for working at your pc or laptop all day. Like the fact that it has a memory for 3 devices.

Only if it wasn't so heavy
After using it for a year I am rather disappointed mainly due to its weight.Despite that it is designed "ergonomically" and indeed glides easily on the mousepad, it is so heavy that it puts lots of strain on the hand. I am particularly feeling fatigue on the rist and the tendons that are connected to it towards the fingers especially working for 8 hours or more daily due to the office work. This could be on the fact that I also use three monitors and despite being on a rather large mousepad, I often run out of space and I need to raise the mouse and reposition it on the pad; an action that is performed rather often during the day. Worth noting that I do not feel the strain using other mice even plain wired ones. I would expect that I wouldn't be raising a horizontal mouse due to its size and weight but this is not one and so should be made lighter.Currently the strain is so much that I am looking for an alternative which is a same given the cost of the mouse.Overall impression:Cons- heavy weight- bulky size- ergonomic: Despite being ergonomically built, it is so heavy that actually puts strain on the hand- value: The value would be a positive if it was not so cumbersome to usePros+ connectivity: straightforward and easy wireless/wired connectivity+ customisation: comes with a nice to use management software+ functionality: Multiple keys and customisationI wouldn't buy it again or recommend it however I would consider other mise/keyboards form Microsoft
