An excellent camera for beginners. This is my first camera, so, I was astounded by the quality of the images. The 16-50 kit lens is not that great.You may go with the 6100 variant, but this one has the better built and video profiles.Keep in mind that this model is from 2019. Except the in-body stabilisation, this one is one of the best under 80k. Get a good lens according to your priority, and you should be set for many years.I’ll keep adding more images.

You can capture decent photos on this, but first of all you must understand it's limitations. You won't be able to achieve the dynamic range of a full frame on this but for the price its good enough.For videos 1080p nowadays is outdated. And 4k is supported only at 30 fps. Moreover it records in 8-bit which you can extend a bit using s-log profiles. And no image Stabilization inbuilt.Final verdict: Good for photos. Okayish for videos.Build quality is good.If you are starting and need one lens you can start with sony 18-105 f4, or, tamron 17-70 f2. 8. Tamron is bit more expensive but image quality is good.After getting any one of the above lens. You can look for some prime especially 50mm f1.8 apsc from sony for potratis. And a sigma 16mm f1.4 or sony 15 mm f1.4 for wider angle to capture landscapes. For years i have been waiting to get a dslr , and i wanted to get the A6100 because its cheaper and pretty much similar to 6400 but then i chose this over the 6100 for 2 major reasons , better build quality and picture profiles (if you are serious about videography then its a must for you or else you can go for A6100) .It has a great autofocus best in class , quick and sharp . The Sony's colour profile is also great. The build and feel of the camera is very good. The menus and overall UI is abit difficult to understand but you have to do alot of to and fros to get used to it.I would suggest to get a body and then purchase lens separately as those kit lenses are useless anyway.

Very good service and delivery on next day early morning

I purchased this product on 7th of July and it was delivered on the very same day. The packaging was really bad by Amazon standards. It was basically just wrapped in a thin see through sheet of plastic. The product as well as the price were all clearly visible through the packaging and since it was raining that day some water had gotten through the plastic covering and on the box of the camera. Maybe I am just spoiled over the years by amazons awesome packaging but still this was a let down for the first time.Apart from that I had an issue with the memory card bundled with the camera. It was corrupted and nothing I did could fix it. So I arranged for a replacement but was informed since this is an expensive product only return is possible. So I opted for a return but then decided to get it checked at the sony service centre. Long story short they fixed the carded immediately. Really happy with Sony's service. I hope I'll get the same response in the future as well. Coming to the product there's nothing much to say. Sony's the best at what they do (Apart from the mobile decision😅) . But I am happy with the purchase and awaiting the rains to stop so I can take this baby out and start clicking.

Auto Focus is very fast, super fine quality, but you doesnt follow in monitor, you need to follow in viewfinder, because too difficult to find correct brightness in monitor display, so you will find with view finder, battery discharges with in 45 minuites for video recording, so take two separate batterys, don't charge to camera with given sony adapter, please go to third party chargers, just like canon chargers!! image stabilization is too bad, camera doesn't have image stabilization, it is a big cons ,☹️.. only OSS lens can manage image stabilization, if any cons in this camera , i will update after use of this camera,😁
