The OBD Connect is nice and small, and so is the price! Well worth buying!
I was looking for a ‘decent’ OBD11 WIFI Fault Code Reader for Apple devices, the OBD Connect was £9.99, too cheap? It had good reviews so I bought it, I’m glad I did! After trying a couple of ‘free’ apps, it was apparent that “you get what you pay for,” so I bought ‘OBD Fusion’ app for £9.99 on the App Store. The OBD Connect and ‘OBD Fusion’ app worked perfectly together. I guess with buying the OBD Connect, I got more than I paid for! I’ve only been using it for a week but it gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from a very happy customer.

Easy to use - worked for Audi A4 B7 using iPhone
I got an engine warning light on my Audi A4 B7 [2015], but with no noticeable car problems, decided to see if this could offer more clues. Simple to use, just found the port on the car and plugged it in. Then downloaded an Iphone OBD app (Car Scanner) and connected via wifi. Within 5 mins I had a fault code with potential explanation [glow plug issue]. I cleared the fault and since then have had no issues with my car, no re-occurrence of fault. Avoided a garage trip, this being an exception, probably caused during the cold weather.

Does what it says it does although wrong item was sent
first up, while this is supposed to be a review for the IOS/Apple version of the OBD Connect device - it isn't going to be. The reason is that I was sent the bluetooth/Android version of the device. You can tell this because the wifi device is black and the bluetooth version is blue.Originally I was going to start at return's process on this, however remembering my son is an avid android user I snaffled his phone to try the device out. And it works - you plug it in and some lights flash - assuredly a sign of working. After you've downloaded a 3rd party OBD app for your chosen device it's very straight forward to use. it's worth noting all this thing does is sends data to your phone. The accuracy or veracity of the information shown to you by your phone is purely down to app you have downloaded. The hardest bit about the set up for me was actually locating the OBD port. What is beyond me is why they have created two versions of this device - the bluetooth version (android) is completely incompatible with Apple - surely it would be cheaper for manufacturer etc to utilise a bluetooth stack that is generically compatible with bluetooth capable devices. hey ho, what do i know?So the 3 stars is just because the supplier doesn't seem to have checked what they are sending (Guys, the clue is in the colour - not to mention the wording on the packaging). As a side note, i don't normally review items so seeing that I have to rate "Sheerness" for this item stumped me a bit - never having actually been there, I'm sure it's a nice place - I gave it 3 stars - so anyone from Sheerness feel free to put me right.

Would recommend for both iOS and Android users!
I used this on my Fiat Tipo, using both my iPad with Auto Doctor (~£4.99/month sub) and Torque Pro on my android mobile (~£2.99 single payment). I was able to check code for fault, do sensor scans, live readout data and reset engine light successfully on both apps.I was dubious about it only being WiFi at first however this is only a minor inconvience compared to Bluetooth and for the price difference it is worth it as a cheap and cheerful solution.I cannot speak for the devices longevity yet as I've only used it the past week but will update this review if there is any development.I would recommend this if people want to save on pricey diagnostics costs to try and narrow down problems by yourself and then save money in the long run.

Value for money
Arrived early, works as advertised but you still need to download a compatible App.Not sure if the app I picked does the hardware justice but it gave a comprehensive report and live data that it recorded so I could review it later. There were no faults reported so I could not try the resetting functions.Overall I am very happy with my purchase but an updated recommended App list would be helpful.
