5 ⭐ wheels, but they need more color options!
I have been using Stealtho wheels for almost 2 years and I 100% recommend them, but there is one thing Stealtho needs to work on and it's unfortunately why I'm forced to go with a different brand on my new Haworth Fern (skip to the bad if you don't want to read me ramble through what I like about the wheels.)First, the good:The wheels look and feel noticably higher quality than any of the other rollerblade style wheels I've tried. And I LOVE that they lock, which is not a common feature on rollerblade casters. The locks aren't just there to check a box, either. They have a nice soft touch coating, their shape makes them easy to press with your foot, and they lock with a satisfying snap. They are as well-designed as the rest of the wheel.Next, the indifferent:Does the overengineering make a substantial difference in durability and performance or is it mostly just marketing? Honestly... probably the latter more than the former. But there is something something to be said for the appearance of quality. And Stealtho's pricing is right in line with their competitors, it's not like you're paying more for them (in some cases you're actually paying less.) No reason not to value premium quality when it comes without a premium price tag. Also the glow-in-the-dark wheels are... neat? Let's be honest, the cool factor comes from the blue wheels, not the fact that they (sort of) glow in the dark.Lastly, the bad:This isn't a knock on the wheels themselves (which are great, as established), but there is one thing keeping me from using Stealtho wheels on my new Haworth Fern, and it's ironically the same thing that originally drew me to them: the color. The wheels looked incredible on my blue gaming chair with matte black frame and orange accents. They clash completely on my Ember Orange Haworth Fern with a frame that is a mixture of white and polished aluminum. It's a silly grip, I know, but I didn't spend this much on an absolutely gorgeous chair just to ruin the look with clashing wheels.I don't need Stealtho to go completely crazy with the colors, but some options besides "black frame with black wheels" or "black frame with blue wheels" would be appreciated. Something as simple as a matte gray or white paint job on the frame—or a niced brushed steel to contrast with the tacky chrome most cheap silver wheels use—with gray or white wheels would go a long way (I'd kill for orange wheels, but I'm not holding my breath.) It would also set them apart because the very few white or silver wheels with locks that exist use black locks and it looks cheap. That could help further cement Stealtho as a step above all the other rollerblade style office chair wheels out there.Just something for Stealtho to consider in case they see this.

Amazing Wheels Top of the Line
Fantastic wheels, worth the extra cost. Works fantastically well on real hardwood floors, synthetic hardwood floors, tile, carpet, you name it, these wheels will roll across it. Highly highly recommend these. They roll like silk across most solid surfaces and are completely silent.

Held together by a loose screw that can't be accessed
Update: STEALTHO promptly offered me a full refund, so I've adjusted my review as promised. Something I've noticed is that the casters with brakes are not as loose as the other casters. So you might try to get a set where all 5 have brakes. Be careful not to stub your toe on them though. One of the casters was already loose and falling apart, right out of the box. It wobbled around from the beginning. The other 4 are starting to come loose now too, and I only bought these about 2 weeks ago and weigh 130 pounds. If you look at the pictures, you get the impression of sturdy, unibody construction, but in fact the stem, the main body, and the little cap/swivel part that divides them, are separate components held together by a single bolt. There's an Allen head bolt that connects the body to the stem, and the cap/swivel part just slides over the stem, ostensibly to keep the chair's legs from contacting the body. So, the bolt screws into the stem from the bottom up, along its lengthwise axis. And that means the head of the bolt is directly above the rubber wheel. Meaning you can't tighten it unless you remove the wheel. And you can't remove the wheel because the axel is apparently riveted onto the body or something comparable. Whatever the construction is, it's clearly not intended to be removable by the end user. So, unable to tighten the screw that holds the stem to the body, you wind up with a completely useless caster. It needs to be REALLY tight and solid in order for it to rotate correctly. If the rubber wheel is perpendicular to the chair's direction of motion, the caster needs to rotate 90 degrees to begin rolling. It can't do that if it's loose, because instead of rotating it will simply crumple in the direction of motion. The stem is solidly held into the chair's leg, but the screw holding the body to the stem is loose. So the body just tilts like 30 degrees and practically folds over. After a couple days of this, the screw just falls out completely, creating a serious risk of injury. If a wheel's body fell off while your toes were under the chair legs or something, you could wind up crushing your toes with hundreds of pounds of force, all distributed into a sharp, hard metal surface. Probably cut your toes clean off.Frankly, considering the price, the use of screws in this application seems really dubious in the first place. Especially using screws in a place where one can't see them in the pictures on the store. But whatever, let's say there was no other option. You seriously couldn't afford to fully tighten the screws? You couldn't afford to use locktite or something so they don't come undone?Considering the user will have no chance of ever tightening the screw herself (because the wheel is in the way), you'd think you'd want to at least make certain that it doesn't leave the shop in a loose state. Ideally, you'd try to prevent it from coming loose in the course of normal, extremely light use.I bought these because the cheap plastic carpet casters that came with my office chair sort of "shed" pieces of plastic. Their exterior shell just disintegrates on its own and leaves plastic debris all over the floor. Here I thought that was bad, that I was ordering an upgrade. But at least those plastic casters stood upright and supported the chair for at least 4 years. I'd much rather step on small pieces of plastic occasionally than have the core structure of the wheels fall apart in a matter of weeks, and risk mutilating my feet.Maybe stealtho's customer support can resolve this by replacing the set I received with a set that is secured with locktite and will not come loose on its own. I'll revise my review if there is meaningful progress in that respect.

Stealtho Locking Caster Wheels - 5/5 stars, excellent replacement casters
This review is for the Stealtho Locking Caster Wheels.Currently a day after installation they have addressed my initial issue with my floor being slightly slanted. The package comes with 5 wheels, 2 of which are locking. I would have preferred all 5 to be locking but after using the locks on the two wheels it's really all I need to prevent my chair from moving. This has raised the height of my chair by roughly half an inch from the factory wheels, just something to consider. These wheels are dead silent and allowed me to remove my plastic floor mat as these will not mar the floor.Caster wheels by their nature are very simple to install, I just yanked out my old ones and pressed these new ones into place.I can't really write a long review about these wheels because what is there to say? For $30-ish you get an excellent set of replacement wheels.

Not all wheels have brakes!
Only two wheels have breaks. The description is very deceptive.
