Bought for 8000
Very very good, hooked to 150ah battery in parallel, can take a load of 232l fridge. No tension of backup duration. Planning for a solar mode in future.

Waste of money and not stand up to the mark.
Totally waste of money. If you looking for only 2 fan and 2 tubelights using purpose then by it otherwise it is not carry 4 ceiling fan load at a time. I buy it and in short duration it having electricity flickering issues same repaired twice. It is clamed for 750 VA capacity load but it hardly serve 350 VA only .. wrost product.I suggest to luminous please collect back all zolt model inverters.

Value product at a good price
I replaced my old eight year old Chloride inverter with this model. Installation is quite straightforward (after disconnecting the entire steup from the mains) - connect the correct terminals with the battery terminals ( ensure correct polarity) select the battery type, flip up the MCB and press the front button of the inverter . The display lights up showing the battery type and approximate backup time remaining. Now plug the inverter to the mains and connect the line out. The inverter works well and kicks on in milliseconds. There are two modes - Eco and UPS ; Ensure the Eco mode is on - It even supports a desktop computer in this mode and supports most appliances. The UPS mode may be necessary only when severe voltage fluctuations are present; this mode consumes battery and may reduce backup time available for actual power cuts. There is a point for battery charge level indicator - this needs to be purchased separately amd may not suit all battery types. The inverter runs slightly warm but is generally noiseless ( only when the fan kicks in some noise is present). there is a switch for bypassing the inverter in case of inverter failure. An MCB is provided doing away with the inconvenience of replacing fuses. The display shows backup time remaining and time left for full charge. Some errors are displayed in the display when they occur. It does not show battery voltage ( It was not advertised to do so). Product registration can be done online. Hopefully the product is built to last.Overall a good buy for Home UPS.

Transformer inside has moved and bumped the metal cover
Its working even though there is some damage due to logistics. I was planning to return if this was faulty.Load handling is not that good for 1700va, it can’t take a 1200w iron box.The installation was automatically cancelled, so had to do it separately.Update:After 1 day invertor is making beep sounds during charging, looks like some internal damage is there. Cooling fan never started, so returning the product.

Misleading "Installation" - It's Just a Demonstration!
Luminous's use of the term "installation" appears to be quite limited in scope. They define it as:Connecting the batterySwitching on the inverterNotably, this doesn't include any wiring work. This contrasts sharply with what most people expect from an installation service, such as AC installation. In those cases:Technicians typically handle all aspects needed to make the unit fully operationalCustomers aren't asked to do preparatory work or additional tasksGiven this discrepancy, Luminous should more clearly define what their "installation" service actually covers. What they're offering might be more accurately described as a "Demonstration" rather than a full installation. To avoid confusion and manage customer expectations, Luminous should:Explicitly state what their service includes and excludesConsider renaming the service to better reflect its limited scopeOffer a more comprehensive installation option if customers need full setup including wiring
