I purchased this for my husband during his chemo treatments which affected his taste buds. Everything tasted metallic so he stopped using silverware. He used some plastic but most were not sturdy enough. This worked out great. We take them everywhere. He’s able to eat better without the metallic aftertaste. They clean well and seem durable. The only complaint is that the spoon is not deep enough for foods you would normally eat with a spoon like soups, jello or oatmeal. We are happy with our purchase & would buy again if needed & would recommend to others.

I was looking for something like these for a while and one of the most attractive items is the bamboo straw. I do not like metal straws at all. My only complaint is that the fork was not done right, there are splinters that, if I had the right files and sandpaper, I could fix, I just don't see that as my responsibility.Overall quality is good. I have not run into any issues and the spoon, knife, chopsticks, and straw all preform well. Easy cleaning, and no warping.

I bought these bamboo utensils for a trip to Disneyland. I didn't want to use the wimpy plastic utensils or paper straws in the park, and you can't bring metal utensils through the metal detectors. These bamboo utensils were very handy to have. The chopsticks were a nice addition! They are sealed so they don't get stained and clean up easily. The nylon pouches are easy to slip into a pocket or backpack.

I've had a different set of bamboo utensils that I bought several years ago, and I decided I wanted to keep a set at work, so I bought this as a 2nd set. My original set has a very smooth finish, so I expected this one to be the same since the holder and utensils look practically identical. However, they are a different brand, and the spoon and fork are rough, so the mouth feel is like a medical tongue depressor. The chopsticks are as smooth as my other set, but for some reason they skimped on the finish for the other pieces.I'm going to try to find out how to finish them myself, but I'm in no rush. Luckily the tongue depressor mouth feel is just annoying and not a deal-breaker.

This set has held up really well when used daily for lunches. It's lightweight and doesn't have a weird texture in my hand.
