Such a good bass. Great pickups, solid build. Plays easy. Not a big fan of the “aged” i.e. pre chipped finish.

This could be a 5 star, but...
The sound is excellent. The pickups and bridge make a very hard to beat combo. The fretboard is faster than the usual P-bass but the set up was awful. I bought it because I got a really good deal and the sound was the best among the options I had.The cons: The neck is really hard to get straight, so the action is always end up high. I had to place a shim for it to play ok through the entire fretboard. That shouldn't be necessary on a $900 instrument. Also the worn vintage finish doesn't really look original.Pros: The sound is definitely Nate Mendel's and more. The bad Ass 2 Bridge is the best I've ever had and the Seymore Duncan pickups really growl!
