Excellent quality
I was a bit nervous ordering this because it didn’t show much of what’s in the box or how to use it.I am posting some pictures of the actual product for those who are interested. There was no instructions on how to feed or use the powder so i had to watch some youtubes but all good from there. My dog who is a 65 lb poodle has had a chronic diarrhea for over a month now and has been on antibiotics and bland diet for over a month. You name it and I have tried it. Dewomers, Probiotics, all kinds of pumpkins, 4 kind of enzymes, other mix of prebiotics and probiotics, bernes perfect poop, kefir, etc. the list goes on and on. Nothing has worked. Hope this works. So far, i am very happy with the product because it shows a very good quality when the powder is mixd with water. It is very gooey as it should be and the color is excellent.I mix a teaspoon with a spoonful of water and feed it to him with a syringe which is easy enough.I will keep you posted on results.Update on 3/12/2023: so i have been giving it to him two times daily each one 2 hours after a meal and 1 hour before the next meal. Unfortunately for him, this one didn’t perform any miracles. It does help a little to get out of diarrhea. It just doesn’t stop him from pooping loose stool. I will continue to use it for few more weeks and continue to search for better solutions.

Favorite product for puppy gastrointestinal distress - hands down!
Owner of adorable border collie who eats things he should definitely not. Often going from periods of normal poop to messy and unpleasant poop, this clears everything up in a few doses. Mixed with a little pumpkin, it soothes his stomach quickly and takes care of the diarrhea. I do not notice any scent, and my pup enjoys the taste. We never travel without it and it is always stocked in our puppy care kit. We use it at the first signs of distress. It has not failed us yet.

Necessary
I always keep slippery elm stocked because it’s very useful in case your pet accidentally swallows/eats something they’re not meant to. Some of my cats just eat it with no trouble but if you put only a small amount of water then it is like a goopy paste that is easy to make them swallow! It’s a great emergency item to have.

Something different
I’ve used slippery elm for decades, it has a very distinct smell and color. I have bought Herb smith’s slippery elm once before and it had the same smell & color that slippery elm always is and worked wonderfully as usual, but this time when I opened it, it didn’t smell like slippery elm at all, almost no scent, like flour and darker in color. So I looked to see if they changed their formula but it says that the only ingredient is still just slippery elm. It does not work, I’ve had to practically dump the whole thing into my dogs food and it still doesn’t work. I’m not sure what’s changed… If it’s where they get their slippery elm…? Or the way it was stored maybe In the sun? Idk but I’ve never seen slippery elm not work, and never seen it without a smell before
