He didn't love it, but he didn't flip a lid when I put it on him, either. I ordered the medium for my Scottish Fold. He is about 7.5 pounds. It's very lightweight, breathable mesh and allows kitty to walk naturally and not feel restricted. It has great velcro straps for the chest and girth areas to easily allow you to put is on without stressing kitty. This is by far the best harness I've had.

Only one thing could have made it better and kind of feel it is important next time it is redesigned is to reinforce both velcro straps with exterior straps on both parts of harness not just one. That being said it is one of the softest yet most secure harnesses I have found on the market for a small cat of 5 lbs.

I have researched and read the reviews of previous customers on numerous strap leashes and harnesses and thought I'd finally got it right this time. We wanted something that would work so we could take our lovely feline (aka "Missy") outside into the back yard with us so she could roll in the grass, chase butterflies, and watch the birds at the bird feeder. We've purchased three separate harnesses and/or collars and attached them to various length leashes to them. Unfortunately, she has escaped Every Single One....anywhere from seconds after being placed on her, to under one minute....from the time she began trying to free herself!Missy stayed in this harness the longest....but that doesn't mean a thing. To provide extra escape-proof strength to it, I pinned the nylon strap to a shorter/tighter length that buckles around her neck (because we couldn't make the neck opening small enough for her) but it fit fine around the body. PLUS, I wrapped the leash itself around and through the buckle loops on the top side of the harness as additional security measure. Missy still got out of it! Since I wasn't in visual sight of her Houdini act at that precise moment, I can't say HOW she did it! I can only say that the pins weren't popped, the velcro straps were still attached, and the leash was around and attached to the harness!!Missy weighs just over 10 lbs., a short-haired domestic, so I think she's an average-sized feline? Hopefully, my review will provide a good product insight/review for shoppers looking for a harness for their beloved pet. As I write this review, her cute, pink harness is on the tale beside me, where I've been sewing the nylon strap into a shorter length that connects around the neck. Not tight enough to be uncomfortable, but just to produce a more snug fit. We'll see how Missy does this time around. This is bought for our little black cat. It fits nicely as it's adjustable but the chest seems to tuck behind her arms a little to much and the ahoulder to front for her front arms could be widen out a little more as it seems she sometimes tuck her elbow in the harness as she tries to get out

Based on the specific shape and length of this harness, seems like it would be great for a cat or a long-torso dog. Did not fit my yorkie properly so I returned it.

This harness is awesomely adorable! My cat ,named Bacon, is very adventurous and loves looking out the window and pawing at the birds and squirrels. So I bought him this so he could go outside and explore without getting away. It works pretty well and Bacon loves all the outside smells and eating fallen leaves; he just refuses to move around in his harness! Granted the one I got him is a little to big, so he just sits there in the yard sleeping! 😃!

I ordered a larger size and it still did not fit my chub cat. Suggested measurements for each size would have been great and saved the buyer from having to guess about which size to purchase. It may have been a great product but I'll never know as I'm not willing to buy another one. Make my own I suppose as the pet store is way too expensive on this type of harness for a cat.
