Would be selling for $1,000 if these were North American skates
I was in the market for some upper mid grade skates. A pair of Bauers or CCM skates in that range would cost probably $450 to $550. For the record, I have been playing hockey for about 25 years and have used Bauer, Micron, and Mission skates in the past.I came across the botas 571 skates by chance. I saw a review online of an older model where the person highly endorsed the skates. I figured since they were on Prime, I can return them if I was not happy.I measured my feet as per the instructions on the skate guru website. The skates fit very well, though I did have to put a new foot bed for my flat feet. I baked them and they say even better.I had two playoff games left in the season when I got the skates. I brought my old pair as a backup in case there was an issue, but these felt extremely comfortable on the ice the first time out.The only issue I had was I got a blister on the outside of my ankle final game, which was the championship game that we won... yippie! Anybody that knows about breaking in new skates understands that this is extremely common.Overall, these are really good skates when compared to top of the line North American brands. Basically, I got a pair of thousand-dollar skates for $300. Sweet!

Awesome quality. Well engineered
I operate a hockey training and power skating school. Playmakers Edge Hockey. Played professional hockey and these skates are one of the best I have ever used . I sharpened them and went out for a skate and with in three strides I felt at home on them. Very impressed.

Disappointed.
Skate looks great. Reviews were solid. Not sure it’s worth the money. Very disappointed. I was pretty excited to find skates in my size 14. I wear a size 15. The fit was decent. The first pair came in all knicked up so I skated them 2 times and wasn’t pleased they seemed off, I had them sharpened twice and still they felt unbalanced so I started a return through amazon. The amazon people were great and sent me another pair.Again the product looks amazing. Looks are deceiving. The fit again is decent but seems mushy on the inside. I had to really pull the laces to get a snug fit. I skated with the second pair twice and again something seemed off. Like there was a wobble. Blades were tight. Everything seemed in order. I had them sharpened twice and that didn’t stop the feeling that something was off.Had them sharpened a 3rd time and I was told the Blade was bent. Wow!As I inspected the skate I noticed both toe caps were pulling away from the boot there was a significant gap in between the boot and toe.Product looked great and I was excited. I’ve been a hockey player for 30 years. If the toe caps pulled away so quickly I don’t think they are going to withstand rigorous use.Now back to the drawing board. Can’t find too many skates in size 14. I’d like to try them again but not sure I want to pay the money and go through the hassle.

Firm boot, light skate
They fit well, appear to be well made skates. Very light on your feet. Got them sharpened and have used them. I measured my feet on a piece of paper and ordered accordingly. I wear a US size 15 shoe and ordered the size 14 skate.

Overall great skates
I normally don't make any reviews but these skates made me to.With out baking it was bit of a hassle but after 5 maybe six skates they fit just perfect. Feel very light on your feet and are very comfortable compare to my old Bauers. Great buy for the price. It will be once big competition for Bauer's, CCM's etc. Hope they last at least 5 years to satisfy me completly.

Fantastic well made very light skate!
I measured per the sizing chart included (left foot is 268mm and right foot is 265mm)so i ordered the 270mm US9 (wear size 8 in bauer/ccm, size 9.5 dress shoe, size 10 athletic shoe and flip flop) I ordered late Wednesday night and received same Saturday.I was skeptical about these skates as I have seen them on Amazon during some of my searches for hockey gear. Never heard of the brand. It has to me a knock off or cheap alibaba or chinese no name garbage right?... WRONG!They are hand made in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 and come with a tag saying so. They have apparently won a design award in Europe also and for good reason. There are some very small and minor imperfections due to this fact but absolutely nothing to remove a star for. Honestly it just adds a little character to the skate and makes me feel like it's not some mass produced garbage. I've seen worse imperfections in factory produced assembly line products. I feel like a hand made item can be more carefully inspected and will be more scrutinized than an item cranked out so fast some bad ones will slip through. They take pride and brag about country of origin and I like that.First thing I noticed is how LIGHT these skates are. I made a comment when I took the skate box out (they are boxed in a 2nd larger box which is much better than the skate box just being in a bag like some other retailers, skate box came smashed!) "Are there even skates in here?" Yep sure enough, two very light and sturdy boots. They are very substantial, but very light and rigid. The outer boot has strength and I feel it can block a shot no problem (I read a review about a newer pair of CCM Tacks taking a puck that left a huge crack in the side of the boot). The laces are very substantial and not cheap like other brands. The eyelets seem sturdy. The insoles are basic foam but cup the heal nicely. You can always replace them with a nicer insole. There are exhaust vent holes in the outsole (which looks like carbon fiber). The blade is Cr-V chrome vanadium which should last a long time. There is a small hole under the insole which I assume allows access to unscrew and remove the blade, but haven't tried it. They are heat moldable but have not molded them yet. I haven't found the exact instructions on the times and temps but may just try ccm or bauer instructions if I can't locate them. I will say they fit very well (nice firm but soft and supportive fabric over foam) with my left foot close to the toe cap but not touching. The toe box is very anatomical and has much less negative space than my blocky CCMs. The tongue is very thin but has support and protection.Ill gonna stop here cuz I'm tired of using my phones keyboard but please check out the review by hockeytutorial on YouTube look for the Botas review I think it's his only one for this brand. It's an older model but very informative and looks very very similar. I will update if anything else changes or if I feel like adding additional info
