Informative textbook with relevant information, but Kindle edition could be better.
I'm using this textbook for a class currently, and so far I like it content-wise. However, if you order the Kindle version, you need to realize that this is basically just a straight digital copy of the book. The text cannot be resized and reflowed like it would with a normal eBook, and you are stick with big margins eating up your screen space unless you manually zoom on each page. In addition, many of the graphics, sidebar notes, and what one of my teachers used to refer to as "Gee Whiz" info boxes tend to break up the text, and you will find yourself panning around and flipping pages back and forth as a result. So, I'm knocking it down a star due to the lazy conversion. I have seen eBooks that were simpler and allowed text formatting customization, and I've also seen eBooks that were more complicated, but designed to better take advantage of the interactive format of the tablet, with scroll-able subsections or internal shortcuts to hop back and forth to different sections. If the publishers want to really take advantage of the eBook format, they'll be able to produce some quality products.

I will say that the authors do provide good Management Information Systems information and break out the processes ...
Bah humbug... it's a textbook. Not too much to rave about. It appears to be fairly current, compared to some of the text, I've been forced to purchase and read. I will say that the authors do provide good Management Information Systems information and break out the processes in a way that is easier understand and then eventually put into practice in the real business world.

It is okay if you must
This is another book written by someone who has no real-world experience, but it was needed for a class!

Thank God Amazon is buying this book back!
I'm an Engineering major and had to take a business technology course that used this book as the class textbook. I've never done well in any English class, usually making a grade of C, so for me to notice the spelling and grammatical errors means that the errors must be frequent and glaring in this book. An English major could probably pick out a lot more errors than I did, but to me it seemed they were everywhere. It was definitely a mistake on the part of Mrs. Baltzan to either not get an editor or to go cheap on the editor she did get.Besides the grammar and spelling errors, the content of this book is pretty weak. I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to learn from reading this textbook. It seemed like a couple hundred pages of hipster fluff void of any solid material. I'm also forwarding my thoughts to my school so hopefully future students would have to suffer through this horrible book.I've kept most of the other textbook that I have for reference, but this one will definitely be getting sold back!

Business Driven Info Systems
As textbooks go, this one is fairly interesting because there are lots of real-world examples. There are side notes about Amazon, Apple, and other noteworthy businesses as they relate to the topics. I read reader reviews here before purchasing mine, and was misled into thinking I needed a new book to have access to the online resources. This is not the case. A new book does not have a code or anything. Save some bucks and get a used copy.

Purchased Book "New"
I purchased this book from Amazon in the "new" condition. The product had a fast ship time, and arrived within the given delivery window, otherwise it would be a one star. However I purchased the book "new." Where the issue came into place is the fact they sent me a used book. The book is in alright condition, I should have known better when the plastic was torn open upon arrival, but it is covered in high-lighting. I would be cautious to purchase a "new" book. You might as well pay for a used because that is what they are going to send you!
