Tamagotchi Friends Dream Town Digital Friend (Jewelry Print Purple)

This is one of two modern Tamagotchi's that were released in America. While it's a big upgrade from the originals (more characters, different games, linking ability with other tamas, can use in conjunction with computer, etc.) it's still pretty limited in what you can do based on the other Tamas that have been released in Japan that you can buy if you don't mind figuring out the menus with the Japanese ones.With that said, it's a great and fun product for anyone who wants to try an upgraded version of a tama.

My 7 year old daughter loves playing this! The only issue I have is how hard it is to see everything. It's hard to understand sometimes with it being so pixely. But it seems to keep her entertained and we paid a low price compared to most electronics these days!

The packaging looked new. However there was tape on it. I checked the device carefully and there was scratches on the back. I don't think this item was new as listed, I can see some marks of use. It works good so far.

I gave this toy to my daughter for Christmas. It was just like the Tamagotchi's I played with 20 years ago!

I wish I had done my research on the Dream variant colors because this is not one of them. This is the original model.

Thanks so much with other fakes out there I was so worried to order one of these on Amazon but my 8 year old daughter loves it! This is the legit tomagatchi just like when we were kids but better!

It wasn't a dream town tamagotchi but it worked so I kept it. The words matter. I'm glad that I have a kid who is flexible.

This is NOT the Dream Town variant of Tamagotchi Friends. This is the standard Tamagotchi Friends device, which preceded the upgraded Dream Town version. The product listing title is very misleading and incorrect.
