Le Elegant Dragon Sword Collectible Fantasy Decoration Figurine 21" Wide (8071850)

Paid for 2day shipping, item was 3 days late. This item was meant as a birthday present, needless to say I was in an embarrassing predicament when I could produce nothing but a card. Recipient was here on a visit from out of town.As to the item: I ordered the dark colored dragon and received instead the silvery colored one. While the item IS roughly 5.5in it seems tiny when out of packaging. Dragon is made (best guess) out of plaster or something close to that nature, and has plastic horns...also seems like it was spray painted silver as the paint/material was chipping off of one of the horns. Dragon feels very fragile.Best part of the item was the sword letter opener, the handle felt like a metal alloy, and the blade is (I assume) stainless steel. Very cute in and of itself. Blade has a mini wave design, cosmetically pleasing...edge of blade is thick and blunt and does not taper at all. I imagine ripping an envelope to shreds attempting to use this. Blade is also resistant to sharpening.Packaging was nice, thin box...item was placed between 2 nice size styrofoam squares. The blade fit into a cut out on the outside of the styrofoam, then had tape wrapped around it. If this item is bought solely for its intended purpose, it's useless. Item is best bought for display purposes. At the listed price, it is of decent quality and unique enough to be a nice conversation starter.Will take a hit on money spent and leave this item out for someone to take, hopefully they'll get some enjoyment out of it. Return process being as it is, know what you want before you order👍

Came in a timely manner, and looks just like the picture. The sword is a separate letter opener, so it is not overly sharp or very big, but I read the specs before ordering so I knew what to expect. Looks/feels like it's made of resin, so it's got a bit of heft to it. The horns on top of the dragon's head are a bit fragile. Mine came in just fine with no flaws, but I could see how they could easily snap off in delivery if the postal service is not careful. But it comes encased in a block of styrofoam within a box, so it will more likely than not be good. Overall, I love the level of detail and how badass it looks. It now sits on my bookshelf and looks awesome.

This is a nice-looking piece from a distance, though upon closer inspection it's a little cheaply made. The low rating is because mine came without the sword letter opener. I'm going to put something else in its place and use it as a display piece anyway, but I paid for the sword and I'd have liked to have it.EDIT: Turns out I'm just dumb, and the letter opener is extremely light, so when I pulled out the styrofoam packing I didn't notice the weight of it taped to the inside. I'm not sure how much use I'd actually get out of it as a letter opener, since it is blunt-tipped and not even remotely sharpened. However, I'm using it as a trophy for my Dungeons & Dragons game, which it should work just fine for. Maybe it's better that the players can't use it to cut each other...

My husband has a collection of gothic styled statues and when I sw this Dragon I thought it would be the perfect addition. Upon arrival it was smaller then I expected, but when opening it I was impressed. The sword is separate, the hilt is very nicely detailed. The dragon is a little taller then 6 ins but nicely detailed, the crystal ball is strongly in place with a nice gleam to it. The sword slides easily in and out so no concerns of damaging anything while moving it. It is a great little addition to a collection or if someone is a fan of dragons.

this dragon statue/letter opener is very well done BUT it is very big and more like 12 inches tall and with sword over 14 inches, I like the dragon but the sword is huge and way to big to be any letter opener and may not keep the sword with the statue. Great dragon but sword needs to be smaller in scale. This is too big to put on most desks so I have on my credenza instead. Would have preferred a 10" version as advertised including the sword.

This looks VERY cool and is just the right size to fit on my desk. But the letter opener keeps falling apart - the blade falls out of the handle. Hoping glue will take care of it. Cause it's super neat.

It looks beautiful on my altar definitely correlates with the spiritual elements. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the little athme doesn't really have a spot to set sturdy. If it wasn't for it being specifically for my altar, that would be honestly a problem. Other than that, it is beautiful way bigger than I expected, and I just love everything about it, even the sore that doesn't want to have a certain thought to actually stick to, I personally don't mind that it comes off, I just wish it could stand better, well, I can say it doesn't matter that much to me, I still love it

Although I do like this dragon, I really did believe it would have been bigger. It is maybe 4 1/2 inches tall, where the other one I purchased was about 10 inches tall. I thought they were both the same height by the way I took the listing. I am still happy with the purchase but I did have to rearrange how they were to be set up. Thank you.
