Favorite flashlight
If you asked me about my favorite flashlight 3 years ago, I would've thought you were nuts. Favorite flashlight? What's the difference? But I love this little guy. I have bought 3 of them, all still working perfectly. I purchased one for use when camping or hiking on the forest at night. On the first night, my companions kept remarking how bright the white light was and they wanted the link to buy one just like it. The colored lights are also brilliant and useful for their purpose. The red, for example, reduces the distance from which others can see your light and it and the green both keep you from losing your eyes' adjustment to the dark while providing plenty of light for illuminating your path. The blue light functions as a black light. They are all strong and vivid lights. The flashlight is durable and has been through all sorts of weather conditions and dropped on all sorts of terrain. Still looks and functions like it's new. It is the perfect size to fit comfortably my hand or in my pocket (I am a woman; I mention this because generally our palm and pocket sizes are both less generous than men's). When the batteries are getting close to dead, you will notice the light is dimmer and eventually it may switch from one color to another without you pressing the button. This seems to be common with this type of flashlight so I'm not treating it as a fault or flaw; instead I take it as a "low battery" indicator and change asap. That said, with name brand batteries, I can usually get through 1-2 weekend trips without changing batteries, which I feel is very reasonable. Edit: After leaving this review, my first of the three flashlights stopped working. To be fair, I have dropped this thing many times in all kinds of conditions and it's gotten hundreds of hours of use over the last 3 years. So still a 5 star flashlight in my book, especially for under $20. I bought another one.

BASIC but good flashlight!
This is the most BASIC tri-color flashlight. It has no memory from the last setting or a strobe effect, but it does exactly what it's supposed to. It cycles between WHITE, Off, RED, Off, BLUE, Off, GREEN. That's it. It just works. It's fairly priced also, but not the least expensive option for such a basic light without memory or USB charging, but it's bright and excellent build quality. I recommend it, but remember, there are no frills.

Not pro gear, but a pretty cool toy
For $17 you're not going to get a military grade tactical flashlight from anybody, so if that's what you're looking for, look elsewhere. But for a reasonably durable, reasonably bright LED flashlight for day-to-day use, or for a kids camp-out, this one is pretty cool. Four different colors of light; decent brightness; the lens isn't the highest quality, but it is glass and there is a focus adjustment that works tolerably well. The various colors are all controlled by one button on the base of the flash light. First press gives you a white bean; off/on switches than to red; repeat for blue; repeat for green, then back to white. You can also keep the light on and cycle through the colors by half-pressing the button. Kids will have fun with this, for sure, though it \is\ bright enough that you probably don't want them shining it in each other's eyes at close range. My one main critique is that the "blue" has a huge amount of UV in it -- train it on anything with fluorescent paint, and it glows like a Halloween pumpkin. That's a little annoying, but common in cheaper blue (and even green or white) LEDs. Of course, some people might consider this more of a feature, than a bug. Also would be nice if it came with a lanyard, but one is easily attached to the pocket clip. Overall, a decent value for the price; I bought 2 and would buy it again.

Excellent light painting tool
This is a great and very affordable solution for light painting during night photography. I used to use the LED Lenser, which was four times as expensive, broke easily and used AAA batteries. This flashlight here has the option for AAAs, but also one for rechargeable 18650 batteries, which is my preferred solution. Brightness is good (better than the Lenser), and all four colors (red, green, blue, white) have about the same brightness, which is not the case with some other, cheap four color lights where blue is rather dim. The light has a zoom which gives you a small spot application and a wide throw, too. Cycling through the colors is a bit awkward, but manageable. Sturdy metal construction, a good size that fits upright into camera backpacks. A very good value for what it provides.

Interesting flashlight.
The light works perfectly well. Click it on and it is a white flashlight. Click it off. Click it back on, it is blue. Repeat these to cycle through the colors. You can also depress the button slightly while the light is ON and it will flash off and then bring up the next color. All colors look bright and the adjustable-focus lens does a great job. As a flashlight, it is over priced but as a cool gadget, it is priced right for me.

Are you still asleep?
I bought this to search for my things as I’m getting ready in the morning before the sun comes up. I like the color choices. Funny thing is it is so bright it still lights the bedroom. At least it’s not a blinding white light. 😜

An insomniac's favorite flashlight!
I cannot sleep all night and and up and down all night. With this in a color (I usually use green), it wakes up no one! My wife never knows when I get out of bed in the middle of the night because when I go back to bed, I wear a CPAP unit and I have to see to get it on and it never wakes her!

Solid build, 21700 battery, UI limitations
The light's build seems solid. One of the best (and unadvertised) features is that it will accept a higher-capacity 21700 battery. To use the advertised 18650 battery, you need to use the tube they provide. I don't understand why they don't just advertise it as a 21700 flashlight. I'm using a Sofirn 5000 mwh battery in mine, so far without issue. I docked a star for these user interface issues: (1) only one leve of light available. (But they probably did this to keep the UI simple.) The default level seems ok for my purpose (hiking a familiar trail) but I'm not sure it would be adequate for other purposes, including the intended hunting purpose. (2) Counter-intuitive memory function. With a conventional memory function you would return to the last color you were using. This flashlight remembers the last color it was displaying but the next time you turn it on, it displays the NEXT color in the cycle. For example, if I was using green, turn it off, and turn it on again, it displays red, and I have to cycle through three colors (using half-presses) to get back to green. If you use the flashlight all the time you'll get used to it, but otherwise it can be wildly frustrating.

A useful photographer's tool.
A great little product for the photographer wanting to change ambient light for certain shots. Small, portable and powerful.

Flashlight feels substantial, but accessories are flimsy, no manuel
It came on time. There is no doubt the flashlight is substantive and seems robust. But the accessories are really flimsy, it does not inspire longevity, if the accessories break the flashlight is not usable. The rechargeable battery is a no name 3.7V 1200mAh, when it dies I won't be able to replace it, I searched for one. (There are no + or - on the ends of it, I put on mark). I tried many times to get the 3xAAA batteries in the holder to work, after numerous attempts it finally worked, is it reliable? Will it stop working again? The box it came in is not the product's box, no LUMENSHOOTER brand name on box or on flashlight and it shows Type-C charge interface on the box, in reality it is a cheap thin plastic USB charger. It has a "green" light indicator for charged, red for not, that is useful. There is no manual included contrary to the description of the product on Amazon product page that says there is. This was a $30.+tx+shipping=$40 purchase, a few days later, now it is $49++. Right now, it works, I just hope it will live up to the good reviews. So a 3 stars.

You dont receive the product as ordered.
Do not order this flashlight if you are expecting as described. It’s not USB-C as described! It does not have a charging port on the flashlight! It has a removable battery and includes a separate charger that is USB-B. The charge is labeled for + and - but the battery is not labeled in anyway so you have no idea if you are inserting it wrong. There are no instructions included. The box even shows picture of a USB-C charging port but there isn’t one. The box says it’s a 18650 mah battery and that does exist on the battery label but it’s mah. The battery is clearly labelled 1200mah. Scam product inside the box! Beware!
