Rich Robust Woodsy Flavor
This is a very dark, almost woodsy tasting honey. I love the richness it gives my herbal tea. Be prepared to taste the honey. I find I need less than I am used to using. This is good because, for honey, it is expensive, which I knew.

Seems good
I use this in our tea when we are fighting sinus troubles. It is also great for sore throats. Honey Austrailia's Manuka Honey Blend is our favorite honey, but it wasnt available when I searched. This one is a little too expensive to buy frequently, although a little goes a long way. It tastes a bit more medicinal than the blend but my kids don't complain.

good flavor, but not medical/therapeutic grade, made in Australia
This Honey Australia manuka honey has the characteristic thick, creamy texture of raw honey. The flavor is has a butterscotch-like sweetness. It tastes good, but it has relatively low manuka factor. Based on the MG/MGO rating, it's not potent enough to be therapeutic. The higher the grade, the greater the presence of the manuka honey antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. However, lower-graded manuka honey is worth eating for its flavor, even if the potential immune and healing benefits are mild.I have a slight preference for manuka from New Zealand because New Zealand's market has been more heavily regulated over the years than Australia's. It doesn't mean you can't get high quality, authentic manuka honey from Australia, though.I didn't know this until recently, but honey is one of the most counterfeited foods in the world.New Zealand created a Unique Mānuka Factor (UMF) quality trademark in 1997 and its member companies that are subjected to independent auditing. All the UMF-licensed honey is traceable. UMF grading ensures it is the highest quality Manuka Honey and guarantees the chemical marker levels stated on the label. MG/MGO is a grading system for manuka factor, but by itself it doesn't indicate doesn't indicate the same level of testing and regulation. New Zealand is perhaps trying to corner the market on manuka honey, but their efforts also show that they intend to protect manuka honey's international reputation, much like French AOC for wine, or Italian DOP for cheese.More recently, Australian honey producers developed their own UMF-like membership organization, the Australian Manuka Honey Association (AMHA). Honey Australia is one of the members listed, which is great. However, in the practice of regulating and guaranteeing the authenticity of its manuka honey exports, Australia is the follower, not the leader. This honey comes in a plastic jar. While glass is more recyclable, and I generally prefer glass to plastic, all other things being equal, this product is coming all the way from Australia. I'd rather have intact honey in a plastic jar than deal with the jar getting damaged in transit.

It's just right!
As a sufferer of hay fever, I was told to drink with this honey to build up my immune system. They were right and I would recommend this honey to anyone.

Good taste
It is a good tasting honey. Usually in our region it cannot be found so I got it from Australia. A tad too expensive. So 4 stars and not five.
