The media could not be loaded.  This pen has some pretty cool functions. I can't think of anything else you would need in a survival situation or when you are camping. You get glass breaker, knife, screwdriver, whistle, flint, rope cotter, pen, flashlight. It has some decent weight. Easy and feels good to hold and it is definitely durable in my opinion.

I like the pen but I don’t like how the rope cutter is made out of plastic. I dropped the pen by mistake and the rope cutter already broke. That could be improved for those who are as clumsy as I am.Also would be nice for the pen to come with a pocket I side the pen or a little bag with the pen to take the other attachments that come with the pen with you everywhere you go.Other than that, this pen is great! For those who have trouble getting the magnesium to spark, try using steel. A pocket knife, get some of the coating off and you’ll start seeing some sparks.

Has a bunch of potential but doesn't live up. You have to unscrew the cap in order to get to the pen (annoying and time consuming) then the cap doesn't even fit onto the other end of the pen for temporary storage. So you just have to set it to the side until you're ready to screw it back on. You can really only use one of the cool attachments at a time. So you will lose all the other ones eventually. It's supposed to be "tactical" if I get kidnapped by the Russian mob I don't want to have to regret having the whistle in my pen and not the scalpel. Lastly I had it in my pocket and as I was walking around work all day the flashlight cap came loose and I lost it and all the batteries, so no flashlight anymore. Wish I didn't spend 30 bucks on it. Right now it's a 30 dollar paper weight.

NOT EDC.UNSCREW the top to find the pen, then the cap DOES NOT FIT, or screw on to, the other end. Good thing, too, since the resulting tiny pen weighs a ton, *without* the cap.Bright LED that will eventually shine with 4, not 3 batteries, and enough delicate fiddling and sharp banging against your palm.The "rope cutting" edge on the cap will be wonderful for tactical *yarn* cutting. Barely tolerable if you sit at a desk with a drawer to hold all the loose tiny pieces, since you get to pick ONE to attach, at a time.I'm sure it will be very durable, because it will never see any use, even as a pen.

It was a unique gift, my husband wanted one for himself.

It is compact, but so convenient and user friendly!

I use it everyday at work very handy!

The blade on the external clip may be a bit of a concern in a high stress situation
