Two keys. First they are functional, second they are light. I'm not telling you that they are the tool for heavy duty use, but for removing hooks and general fishing needs they are very nice. I bought a pair a couple of years ago for a fly-in fishing trip and really liked them. I bought a pair for both of my sons as a result. They both like them as well.

These work great. Only complaint, would like a longer lanyard. The tool is well made and latches well when not in use. Certainly worth the price. I got the one with the ring beak for opening split rings.

The clipper part for line shifted and seems as if it is not going to line up again no matter how I tweak it. But other than that they are fine,
