1/16 R/C German Elefant JAGDPANZER Tank Full -Option Destroyer Tank Kit C6614K

I like the tank, but I expected it to come with a transmitter and a battery to make it go, once assembled and I personally think the price should have included both of these items, so that it is in line with Heng Long and Tamiya similar kits. Would I have bought it, had I known that these 2 components were missing, probably not.

I had a really great experience putting the tank together and it works great.

I purchased this kit unassembled as I was intending on painting it and using aftermarket parts. It does not come ready to assemble and run. There is no VCU, Main Gun Lamp, Machine gun lamp,smoke generator,speaker, volume control, head lamps or tail lamps. You have to purchase the VCU with a Radio controller that have been linked to each other. SO if you want upgrades, it will take over 6 months to get anything from Hooben with shipping delays and manufacturing due to the world wide health concerns. Cheaper than Tamiya and now I know why. The CPU comes with pigtails you have to solder to the motors for elevation or traversing. The maingun lamp that is to light up when you press the cannon button is not included and must be installed in the barrel as part of the first assembly. If you want a challenge, this is the kit for you. Want to have a shorter wait to have something to run, Go with Tamiya. More expensive, but has \everything but the Radio.

My first dislike is that Hooben didn’t include everything needed for a full RTR. I have the Hooben T-55 that had all parts needed to include the radio system. My second dislike was the instructions. They were unclear & confusing on assembly. Hooben needs to be more attentive to the consumers needs for what we pay for their kits. Enough said!

Not sure about the product because the manufacturers recommended age is 216 and up so I’ll never know in my life time sadly

This compnay has used numerous names Arkmodel/Hooben/Twin horse does not exist other than a po box in Springfield Illinois and many other names. All the product is the same Over priced models and poor quality. Some people have been waiting for years for models and they come and go like the wind. Hobby clubs across Europe and America know this issue so beware. The company's principals have abused the trust of many people and parts service is almost nonexistant as they are in China. Use quality manufactors and they are not one of them. I have rated and done qaulity control in this field for 45 years. BEWARE PERIOD

I buy everything from Amazon but the way you answered some questions from potential customers about this so called full option tank I'd rather take MY 800.00 outside and burn it than to get tied up with you guys about a problem. If you put full option on the title it needs to have them some people dont read all the BS companies write bc not one was 100% true but 1 Exceed Rc Mad Torque...

Only 150 years to go before I too can own one of these.
