Tubular Lock Model with 3 PCS Emergency Open Set(b)

 This kit is super easy to use. I watched a youtube video first and then on my first try, I had the lock opened in about 5 seconds. I thought Tubular locks were supposed to be a high security device. I just found out they are not.Update. I was not able to open a quality high security Tubular lock with this tool. Still great in my book.

The product seems fairly sturdy and works fine. The item did not come with any instructions, so you have to Youtube it.

Arrived by US Mail. Packaged ok, I guess. I have tried to get these to work many times with no good luck. I can't in good conscience say that it is the picks, but I would think that a better implantation would have been created by now. A small motor installed to regulate and control the lateral thrust. Think one of the electropicks currently available.

I had my doubts. This is very clearly a cheap Chinese knock of of a tool that normally runs $50 Each. Not $20 for 3. I first saw this kit on Alibabba then Banggood. Neither of witch is know for quality. And a price shift that large is a HUGE red flag. But when LPL and Deviant both used this kit in a video I decided to try it. And I can say this. It works as advertised. That's not to say its high quality. But its the difference between a cheap or an expensive screw driver. Both of them are gonna work. Now it does come with some negatives over its competitors. There is no locking ring. So it can't be turned into a key and taken to a hardware store to have a new key made from it. and it has set screws that can come loose with use, so you will need the provided Allen wrench to tighten it up from time to time. But that's it for the negatives. It does the job fast and well. and it's just stupid cheap. I have to give this one a Buy. You will b e happy you did.
