How to Have a Glowing Radiant Complexion
Some people radiate beauty no matter what their age. My grandmother was like that. She was beautiful right up until she passed away. Part of this was because she used good skincare products and part of her success was that she was a beautiful person on the inside and that showed. Tonya Zavasta looks like she leads a blissful and positive life and she seems happy and grateful for the knowledge she has acquired. In this book Tonya Zavasta reveals all the secrets behind her amazing clear and toned complexion. There are no exercises in this book but there is a beauty routine. What you will find out about is skin brushing, beauty products that work and how to rejuvenate the skin through a raw foods diet.Tonya Zavasta warns against cosmetic procedures that only temporarily help you look younger, but in the end age you faster. This is very compelling advice you'll want to read about if you are over 40.I like that there is an explanation for why skin gets rough, dry and scaly. There are some extreme things like the author recommends you sleep on the floor. I just bought a new mattress and would be in pain sleeping on the floor. So there are some extreme things I don't think you need to do to keep your beauty. Simply eating better and using better skin care products will get you results. And yes your skin will clear up if you eat more fruits and vegetables. I can prove it because that is what I've been doing on the DASH diet and my skin looks great. The author recommends juicing but just eating fruit and vegetables will give you similar results. You may however have to give up sugar and fatty potato chips. So an interesting book that teaches you a lot and there are some things like face brushing that I might actually try.~The Rebecca Review

Some OK Info. But With A Few Reservations
There is no doubt that this woman looks great and she certainly has achieved an "ageless" beauty, if the cover photo can be believed. I'm guessing/hoping based on many of the reviews here, that it is a realistic photo and not one that has been enhanced or altered, at least not significantly. That and the title grabbed my attention immediately. As someone who has always been interested in keeping healthy and looking good in natural (drug and surgery free) ways, I did enjoy reading some of this book and there were some good reminders such as:eating more raw fruits and veggies, limiting sun time, doing facial exercises and yoga on a regular basis.I did think though that her own regime is unrealistic for the average person to stick with long-term and some of her suggestions I did not agree with at all.Who would want to sleep on the floor every night without even a pillow! And is that really something that is good for your back in the long-term? And who would want to forgo ALL cooked foods, even healthy recipes like vegetarian soups and stews...NOT me! ;-)Two things that I completely disagree with in this eBook were:Not drinking too much water and instead relying on fruits and veggies for a water source as much as possible. That didn't make any sense to me. I have never heard any expert say that there is such a thing as drinking too much good-quality water. And it certainly doesn't make a person look or feel bloated, if your kidneys are functioning properly. Also, she suggests sleeping on your back. As someone who has studied the Buteyko Breathing Method, used especially by people with respiratory problems such as asthma, laying on your back to sleep can actually be dangerous as it apparently does not supply the body with as much oxygen as other sleep positions do. This can lead to heart attacks and dying in one's sleep. This has been proven and documented. If you'd like to read more on this topic, check out Buteyko online and also at my review blog: myreallifereviews . com where I reviewed this organizations informative and popular DVD.Some good and some not so good in this book, that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.Geraldine Helen Hartman author of: Laughing AT the Grim Reaper! Love the book, but there are natural alternatives to first aid tape
Tonya had all kinds of great and very useful suggestions. I especially like Chapter 10: Know Your Cosmetics! She warns her readers how cosmetic companies get away with adding in synthetic ingredients under natural sounding names. The only suggestion that I found in her book that did not seem healthy was applying first aid tape to the face. She even said when she first used the tape it caused "redness" and that was a BIG red flag for me, since it meant that her skin reacted. I wondered why would her skin react, so I went searching for the answer. The problems seems to clearly be the isooctyl acrylate which is a synthetic chemical found in almost all medical/first aid tapes and bandages. "the presence of one of the most common acrylates (isooctyl acrylate) used in 3M's adhesive bandages and tapes was discovered by accessing online US patent records" from medscape websiteHere are the toxicity warnings listed on the USA National Institute of Health website: isooctyl acrylate"Inhalation Symptoms: Cough.Skin Symptoms: Redness.Eye Symptoms: Redness.Ingestion Symptoms: Vomiting. Aspiration hazard!Ecological Information: ICSC Environmental DataThe substance is very toxic to aquatic organisms. It is strongly advised not to let the chemical enter into the environment."100% NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO TAPE - Thinly cucumber slices. The cucumber slices naturally "glue" to your skin, so you can go about your day, sitting, running, jumping, sleeping and even gardening (to grow cucumbers)!Luckily you will not do not need to lay down before or after applying cucumber slices! An important element is to get the right tool - getting the right peeler/slicer. Make sure to use a peeler/slicer that has close blades, since that will make a thinner slice. Not all peelers/slicers are the same. If your sliced cucumber fall down easily from your face, then they are probably too thick. Thin slices are lighter and form to the curves of your face better.

Amazing advice.
So much information that really does help. This lady is an inspiration. I have found the advice very helpful, I personally don't get on with 100% raw diet as I have mild A.S and find a low starch diet the only thing that helps me be pain free but even if you are not 100% raw there is so much advice and information and it's very interesting to read. Definitely something that will help everyone to look younger and feel better in there.
