Highly anticipated, very disappointed
There is no denying that the build quality on these is terrific. However, I knocked off 4 stars because the design has caused me to remove them and give them away. The outer perimeter is so thin and the shaft bulge in the middle so proud that it feels like my foot is over a big hump, high centered in the middle, and causes my shoes to slip off the pedal. I rode them 3 times with 3 different shoes and was the same each time. It's like taping a marble or a ball bearing to the bottom of your shoe. Very disappointed in these because they look awesome and are built well.

Just buy them. you're not going to get better for under $60
personal note: They match with all of the darker blue Accents my frame has, so that's nice....for function: the bearings are butter smooth but not so free sliding that they spin like a top.these have the same Build quality and smoothness of a much more expensive petal from the Likes of VP or Raceface. with the through hole pins you can extract them after they have worn down without having to worry if you have worn off the Allen key insert. very repairable as well.they have taken a few hard hits and the Alum has held up well. they are not the lightest but they are in the same class as some of the Heavier Chester's from Raceface. because of the thin profile they will provide a tad more clearance then a thicker poly petal. I have 100 Miles of Road/Fire road riding and 50-70 miles of DH trail riding. no major damage just some scratches.

Nice upgrade from stock pedals
They're definitely an upgrade from stock pedals. I'm a new MTB rider, so I only have my little experience, but these pedals have really good grip and they're lighter than stock pedals. Idk how they'll hold up over time, but so far so good. I was a little worried they were smaller than my stock pedals, but they're actually slightly larger. Not a ton, but some. I'd recommend these pedals.

Save your money and get these! Better than $175 pedals!
Picked these up for a budget bike build to sell. Then I got a downhill bike and needed pedals for the weekend so I borrowed these pedals for a bit. Normally I run Race Face atlas pedals which cost $175. They're amazing pedals... But holy crap are these just as good if not better! Tons of grip! Feel great and stable. Honestly I'm blown away!Whomever complained about the axle bring raised in the middle has no clue. Probably some novice trying to pedal in tennis shoes... I'm in 510s and the feel is amazing and just like any other thin metal pedal from any other brand.I can't comment on longevity yet as I've only ridden them for a short bit. If they act up I'll update this. If you don't see any updates, they're still kicking butt!

Clean threads, sharp studs, candy blue paint.
Arrived in great condition. First impression is that they are thin and light. 330 grams total for both pedals. Studs are sharp and grip shoes well. Threads were covered by a plastic cap for shipping which seems to have worked. They threaded on easily. Also in the box was a set of pedal washers and 4 spare studs. I used an 8mm hex wrench to install. The studs need a T20 torx bit which is easy to find. The color looks really good to me. I have an anodized Profile BMX stem in blue and that stem is just a tad darker than these pedals. Overall I'm happy with the color though.

Great for the price
I wanted a pair of inexpensive mountain bike pedals to put on my bike that I use for bike packing and don't ride as often as my mountain bike. I own the Stamp pedals on my mountain bike and I purchased these because they were close to the same dimensions and were only $30 compared to the $100 I paid for my Stamps. After riding with them several times, I really can't tell a difference between the two pair of pedals. These do have a little bit longer spikes but they work great. I would definitely buy them again.

Nice finish, Very Grippy, Wide, Light, and Spin Very Smooth
I got hit by a car on my bike which my previous pedal bent and was unusable.. Thankfully my bike survived.. Only had to replace a few things..I had wanted some decent Wide flat pedals with grip. I was choosing between the raceface chesters and these.. I opted for these because I liked the finish on them. They function great.. bearings spin smooth..They are very grippy on my shoes.. and they handle my weight.. Im 6'1 and 260.. so they handle me throwing them around no issues.Id buy these again.I highly recommend them

Solid pedal.
Nice a solid and very good grips. Great upgrade for my rockhopper pro. Went on ride flat trail and mountain trail my feet never shifted of the pedal. Delivery was on point. Nice solid pedal and I like the extra shims that came with the product for spacing the gap which perfect fit for my mtb. For the price you cannot beat the quality.
