So good - we're buying a second copy
I took this book with me to my hometown for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it so much.... I have to get another copy. The photographs are well done and really help you understand how to shape the pasta. The author clearly explains the steps to make great dough and then shape it. We were easily able to make the milk, tomato, and leafy green (we used frozen spinach) dough. My daughters skipped to the advanced techniques of "painting pasta with pasta" and we ended up with some interesting, yet tasty designs. I have been making pasta off and on for a few years now and I was amazed at how helpful the book was. I learned many techniques that have improved my pasta making (and explain some of my previous failures) and because of the rainbow colors - everyone is so excited to participate, clean up, and eat pasta!

Personable and Helpful!
It's been a long time since I read a nonfiction book this captivating. The author's personality really shines through and draws you deeper into the beautiful world of pasta. I can't wait to start making recipes from this glorious, photo-filled book! Also, in case there were any questions, Linda is hilarious. Here's my favorite excerpt:"Close your eyes, open your mouth just a tad, and imagine that a mermaid has placed her breast just within reach of your tongue. Give it a healthy lick -- boy, girl, gay, straight, don't tell me you wouldn't slurp a mermaid if you had the chance -- and now open your eyes and salt your water to taste just like the puckery protuberance of that mythical maiden. I mean, I could have said salty like the sea, but something tells me you'll remember this rule of breast best."Captivating, beautiful, and informational, what's not to love? I learned a lot about both technique and Italian pasta culture as I devoured this book in a day of delighted reading. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Useful color and sheeting information
This book helped me select the ingredients that I wanted to use for intense pasta colors, although it didn't really provide ratios for powder forms of certain colors and I ended up experimenting to get exactly what I wanted. I also found that for me it is easier to work with durum semolina and water instead of the ingredients listed for the basic dough recipe in the book. A few more photos of shaping pasta would have been useful, but the main thing is that it inspired me to play around more with colors and shapes. Just made this pasta today and have a bit more to make with different patterns and shapes.

Just Wow!
I have been waiting for this book for months and it has met and surpassed my expectations! Being somewhat of a novice pasta maker myself... Linda's recipes are easy to follow and she gives so much practical advice mixed with a great sense of humor!! I have read every page and several sections repeatedly!! My first recipe was Beet-Blueberry pasta made into squash ravioli with brown butter sage sauce for a Halloween season treat. My family raved about it for days! I can't wait to share more recipes with my extended family and try more at home. As an Italian and an art teacher...this book bridges my two passions of art and cooking!!! Thank you for all of the inspiration!

So much easier to make than you can believe and so gorgeous!
While the obvious selling point is the absolutely stunning colorful pasta...don't let that fool you. This is DELCIOUS pasta! Linda's recipes show a deft sophistication in technique and flavor that you will be able to master and enjoy! Makingyour own filled pasta is incredibly satisfying and much easier than you think. In no time you will be making insanely color pasta in a multitude of shapes and wondering what took you so long to start down this path!

Definitely a MUST PURCHASE for...
...anyone who enjoys a good cookbook!!! This book delivers beyond what I was expecting it too. My only wish would have been that the pages were glossier so they would be easy to wipe off when using in the kitchen cooking. BUT with that said....WOW!! It is a beautiful book from cover to cover!! I love how it is her story as well as the photos and how she makes it. Not to mention she is a local gal who I can take classes from. WINNER WINNER on all facets for me!And what about the price? GREAT PRICE for the book!! Going to purchase a couple more for Christmas gifts.

Perfect
This book is amazing, it's both accessible and aspirational. If you've never made a noodle in your life or if you do it like it's your job (even if it is your job!) there is something for everyone. The photos are incredible and the explanations are thoughtful and well written. There is no better way to become a master pasta maker!Its perfect for all skill levels, it's going to make an incredible hostess gift for anyone I visit during the holidays!

Delightful!
An avid pasta-maker, I don't think I'd ever considered actually purchasing a pasta book before, but the author is a) a stellar individual and b) made a beautiful, colorful book! I loved reading through it and checking out the recipes, and look forward to actually creating things from the recipes in this book. Absolutely recommend!

The most amazing colourful book!
I found the author on Instagram and was thrilled she had a book! Recipes are easy to follow and delicious. I made farfalle, my daughter made garganelli and rigatoni. We then had pink tagliatelle for dinner. I am waiting for blue pea flowers to arrive so we can make rainbow pasta. I know this book will be well used in years to come!

Inspirational
I became so inspired when I saw Linda's creations that not only did I go out and buy the book but I also bought the the natural food colourings that she uses, as well as a load of little tools for making the cutouts. A year or so ago I bought myself a Marcato Pasta machine, looking at Linda's creations made me feel something was lacking from mine, a bit boring perhaps..this book was just what I needed. The only disappointment were the photos, maybe because of the paper type, but they lacked the vibrancy that I'd become so familiar with from her Instagram images. If you like making pasta then you have to get this book!

It’s arrives in time. The book is with very vibrant colors and has so many photos and very good descriptions with them. The recipes are super interesting.
