I really wanted to love the idea of this. I will probably look for some thing that I can actually attach to the door via a screw or nail. The idea was amazing the adhesive not so much. It fell off of both doors within a week and that was after installing it correctly with the correct cleaning method and everything. Disappointed but it gave me an idea for something that may actually work.

Unfortunately I cut these and can return them. I gave them 1 star for.. well honestly I don’t even know. They’re shipped in a roll form so that’s off to a bad start when you try to put them on a strait door. Then next flaw is that they’re such an odd size. I cut both strips to the size of the door and had such an odd amount left that was useless. Now on to the real issue. These are laughable. Like maybe on hard floors only but on carpet.. if you put them at the perfect length where there’s no gap under the door hope you don’t plan on using it. And if you lift it up just a little bit then we’ll.. you’re missing the point of using it for bug protection. So idk. For me it’s definitely a no can’t seem to find a good reasonable use for these.

I was looking for a pliable door sweep to use on basement doors with very uneven floors. A traditional stiff rubber sweep wouldn't be able to seal in the. Closed position and still open without binding. These fit the bill perfectly. I chose a non obvious color. Cut to size. Cleaned the stained wood section of the door with alcohol. Stuck them on snug at floor. Rubbed the adhesive in good. They seemed to work great. For extra durability I put a few heavy duty staples through the bottom of the adhesive strip. Cheaper than anything at lowes or HD and they are working as I had hoped

Very easy installation! You just measure the length you need (my front door was 32”), then cut it. Wipe the door with rubbing alcohol. Peel off the red tape. Make sure it’s flush with the floor, and press the sticky side to the door. I believe that it will be a lasting adhesive as I tried to reposition it a little lower on one end, but it looked like it was going to take the paint off the door if I removed it. I am very happy with the clean finish! It is not very thick or very wide as I had expected. It is very unobtrusive! I got the white color which blends well with my baseboards. Also, another commenter said it was hard to cut... nope! I used regular scissors and it cut just fine. It’s a very flexible plastic that arrived coiled up in a 9x12 Amazon bubble mailer.
