Although I did not choose the sisterlocks route and in my 2nd month of my starter dreads, this book really offered enlightenment to the journey I've just began. My regret is not going natural sooner, thinking about the countless dollars spent on hair products and using perms on my hair from age 12 to late 20ties. I had abused and ruined my natural hair that was already beautiful before the chemicals. (If only I'd known that back then) But its never to late to discover. Thank you so for writing this book and sharing your story.

Good tips,recommendations & opinions for sister locs especially. I really thought they were just a mini dread but I guess they are a bit more complicated.

I mostly enjoyed how Linda shared her personal experience with her readers. She brought light to a lot of questions and issues pertaining to locs. Everything was clear and comprehensive. I enjoyed Ms. Williams' book. I will be locking my hair for the second time next year (2017) and her book gave me a wealth of knowledge that I did not know the first time. Thank you for the information, and I would recommend her book to any of my friends considering Sisterlocks.
