I thought part one started out a little slow but thought this one, part two, was better. Carly and Michael were still trying to hide their relationship from her parents, but Michael was putting them in situations that were making it harder to do so. They had some steamy scenes between them. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.Carly walks into her house and knows that Michael is there. She knows it before she even sees him. She comes in to let her mom and dad know she is home. Her dad calls her in by him, and Carly sees Michael. This relationship is a secret. Her dad asks Carly is she remembers Michael, is she being to obvious that she knows him, very intimately? Michael greets her like they are just being reintroduced, but with a gleam in his eye only she sees. She is now able to play along. After a short bit listening to the two men talking shop, she excuses herself to her room.Carly is studying online when she hears a tapping sound. She investigates and Michael climbs through the window. They are to be keeping things secret. They heat up right there, with some help from quick thinking Michael, to help keep her silent and not draw attention from her parent right in the next room. Can he manage to keep her quiet and himself as well?Afterwards, he informs her that he is going to be out of town for the weekend, but asks for dinner when he returns. She agrees. Once he is back, she sneaks out to be with him for dinner and all that the night holds in store for her. She is quickly surprised with his reaction and his telling her what is in store for her tonight. There is just so much that is being said without vocalizing that their feelings are very strong. Although Michael does tell Carly something that surprises her, something she can't take her mind off of, it is that consuming.

So far I am loving this series. Some of the suspenseful happenings have me cringing. For a couple trying to keep their love a secret, they sure do like living on the edge. To explain that would be a spoiler, so you just have to read it for yourself. Hopefully the next come out soon......Patience has never been a virtue of mine. The affair goes on in this book with the addition of the secret room. Will they get caught? We will have to see. Cannot wait for the next part of the story!
