Teacher's Toolbox 6.0

I purchased this software because I really had good luck with version 4.0. I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and purchased 6.0 and now it will not read the files made by 4.0. It is on no use to me because all of my existing files can not be used. ON the box it states the minimum requirements are Window 2000 Professional and 'Windows XP and higher operating systems. I assumed that would mean Windows 7, but it evidently does not. I would not suggest this software.

I was very disappointed to find that Teacher's Toolbox would not work on Windows 7. The system requirements advertised were that you need Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP AND HIGHER OPERATING SYSTEMS. The online support was no help, saying sorry, it's too expensive for us to adapt the software to all systems.

This is the same version as 3.0 as I haven't found any differences. You still can't export grades to a report card, import student photos or information and it still doesn't include a lesson planner. It works well for simply tracking grades but it could be so much better!

I have used this product over many years. I love the way it is organized. It did take me a bit of time at the beginning to get to know the possibilities, but now that I have used it for a while, I don't want to change it with any other program. I use it mostly as a mark book and like how it calculates the average right away. I can change what value each mark should have at any time. The information is well organized in simple to read charts. I understand that some users expect a lot more out of this product. I have not bothered to use some of the features and it has worked well for me. Besides, I do not have a problem to copy and save my files, as another user explained. You can save your files on a flash drive, if you are worried your computer brakes down, and then install the program on another computer and upload the saved files. I had to do this once and it worked well.

I'm an idiot, I read the reviews and bought it anyway. The seller is great and will refund my purchase. Is Ablesoft even in business anymore? Because, after installing the software, I could not register the product, and thus could not update it. Error messages were that the Ablesoft website could not be reached (always a bad sign) and the application needed to close. I'm sending it back.

outdated as far as I am concerned

I have used this product for years and have been through every upgrade and it's been wonderful. Now, however, sadly-not for Windows 7. We are fading out XP's in my high school and I don't know what else to use since this was perfect for my own personal system. I am searching for a similar product that can do what TT does but on Windows 7.

I purchased the Teaacher's Toolbox by AbleSoft and attempted to instal it into my Windows 7, 64bit, machine and found, much to my surprise, that the program, once installed, would not run. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but the effort did not produce my hoped for results. Following the directions in sending an error report would also not function; the listed url for the company does not connect.
