The items came apart behind the cardboard, allowing them to freely bump into each other, perhaps scratching it. The confusing part is the gold label on the front saying it IS dishwasher safe, yet the smaller print says, hand wash ALL two color flatware (with the gold). Which is it? I also found 2 forks that had slightly bent tines, hard to notice, yet I did. Overall, great weight, great size and very nice work on them.

I use these at the holidays and love them. They are durable and balanced. I do not put in the dishwasher.

Already fading 😪, I just bought 2 sets and we don't use a dishwasher, we wash by hand in this house, very deciving,
