Not like they used to be! ☹️
I bought a pair of these slippers a year ago and LOVED them. That's why I bought this pair. They are supposed to be the same slipper. They are NOT. The construction is different. The part that fits over the foot is smaller, not as wide. These flop when you walk, my foot slides out of them, my heal slides off the side. I didn't have any of these problems with my first pair. The wider top part gave my foot more support, gave a nice snug fit that made them so much more comfortable. I would not buy these like they are now again. I hope they go back to making them like they used to.

😩
Very disappointed. I have worn these slippers for years. I have had many surgeries on my feet and the acorn slippers were the only ones that made my feet feel better especially at the end of a long day. I just ordered a new pair and we'll all I can say I am returning them. They were to wide, to long, totally the wrong size. They slipped of my feet because of the new style. I even called Acorn and complained. Hope they understand. They told me they had many complaints.

Bad product design
Shame on you Acorn! Been buying your slippers a long time, but since you eliminated the second strap over the instep, they don’t fit anymore. Now they are downright dangerous because your heel can slip sideways very very easily. I turned my ankle after trying to break them in. Thought that would help. It didn’t. Don’t want to break an ankle so I threw them away. I want the old style back. They were perfect!

Sad decline in quality of my former favorite slippers
Very disappointed in the decline in quality of these Acorn slippers. I owned 2 pairs of Acorn Spa slippers which I wore out over 3-4 years. From the photos. the Spa II Slippers seemed to be very similar in design and price to the "Spa" slippers I owned before. Sadly the new version felt no better than a $8 pair of discount store slippers. Cheap cushioning in the soles, upper material not nearly as soft and fluffy. The slippers also run wider. When I pulled the top strap over far enough to make them as narrow as the originals, the strap extended beyond the Velcro tab on the side of the slipper and touched the ground. I was glad I could return them free (thank you Amazon).

Best Summer Slippers I've Ever Owned for Tender Feet
I wear these way too much because they're so comfortable. I have "tender feet," by which I mean I'm easily bothered by irregularities in both soles and uppers. Any pinching or sense of sand-like particles, and I take my shoes off. I want good form, fit, and function. I'm buying a new pair today because my two-year-old pair is kaput. But I love them and they're worth the price. It took me a little bit to get used to the enormously cushy insole, because it actually elevated my feet a bit above the floor. That moved my center upward. But that was a short period. I wear a size 10 in shoes, and the fit was as expected. They're a little longer than I actually need, but not so long as to cause tripping. That little bit of extra length and the adjustable strap lets me get these babies to stay on with absolutely no pinching or slipping off my feet. They're wide enough, but they aren't boats, unless perhaps you have very narrow feet. My width is medium.I love the way they look and feel. I've washed them by hand and in the washing machine. I don't put them in the dryer. I hang them on a drying rack or a doorknob. They do take a good 24 hours to dry because of the thick foam. Don't put them in the dryer. The materials may melt. I'd be comfortable gifting these, as long as I know my recipient's size. I know a lot of women who want slippers that fit well and feel good, but don't want to pay more than $20. Well, you have to pay a little more to get great slippers, so yes, they would be a good gift. I certainly would appreciate them if someone gifted them to me. I definitely recommend these.

Comfy but quality is iffy
This is my second pair of these slide slippers. My first ones lasted me around 3-4 years. They are incredibly comfortable.I would simply wash them in the washing machine every so often and air dry them and they were right as rain. I wore them until the heel was coming apart (I wear them every day except for the hot summer months). They were my dream slippers and I intended to continue buying them as long as they continued making them.Fast forward to my second pair, which I bought four weeks ago. I knew that the right one had felt loose recently, but I only realized why today: the top velcro piece had become completely unstitched. I am hardly a seamstress, yet here I sit trying to sew the piece back on because I missed the return window by three days, hoping & praying that they survive the first washing. I am so disappointed. I thought I was done slipper searching, but I can't chance this happening again, so I'll be looking elsewhere for my next pair.

The most comfortable slipper ever made!
I have been wearing these slippers for over a year now, and have ordered ,multiple pairs. They wash well in the machine. I had a friend who put them on for a moment, and came back and asked me where I bought my slippers, as they were so comfortable. I ended up buying my 3 friends a pair each. They were so excited!

Ugh - Don't Bother
I've purchased Acorn slippers over the past few years and loved them. These slippers were a real let down. First off the size is 6.5-75 and I'm a 7.5 and these are too large. They are made out of some slippery material, while soft, I'll break my ankle if I wear them as my foot is slipping all over the place. Shame on me for taking them apart from the package - now I spent $30 for useless slippers. I wish they still made the crisscross slip ons they were great, these aren't worth the money and the size is way to big.

My Feet Adore Acorn Spa Slippers
I have recently struggled with edema in my feet and have had an awful time finding a women’s size 12 shoe to fit my swollen feet and be comfortable. These Acorn slippers have a Velcro closure that adjusts to the widest part of your goot? Have great cushion, non-slip sole, and wash & dry beautifully looking like new each time. I’ve never been disappointed with the line of Acorn Terry spa slippers which have I’ve been easily wearing 15 years now.the dole is so substantial yet light weight you can wear them outdoors.
