Very good speaker for the price and size!
I purchased this product because my new 32 inch 4k monitor didn't have built in speakers. I was thinking of purchasing the real small, box laptop speakers. After checking out this speaker, I decided to give it a try and hopefully have something better for games, movies et. This product exceeded my expectations. Good mid range & high range sound. TV and movies sound pretty good. As far as the bass, it's not terrible-but for the size, pretty good. I wasn't expecting huge bass so it met my expectations. The sound level is pretty good too. Way better than the small box laptop speakers-sound quality and sound level. My 28 inch 1080p LED TV had built in speakers. This speaker is far superior in every way! This speaker is perfect for my needs! I plugged this speaker into my headphone jack and a USB. Not sure if plugging it into the audio jacks on the back might help it sound even better-and produce more bass.

A total POS
It sounded okay for a week and it was downhill from there. First it began having a lot static and my volume setting was very low the whole time. Then about 2 weeks later it stopped working. Don't spend your money on this product.

Can't figure this out
Tried several things to get this to work with my TV, but it doesn't. I'm probably doing something wrong but I thought all I needed to do was plug it in to the earphone plug and that does not work

For the price, it is hard to complain. Great for movie watching.
Right now, I do not have a lot of money to spend on well, anything. But I've been using a notebook computer to watch "TV" and movies. For me, good sound quality is critical in watching movies. Using the built-in speakers of just about any notebook computer is just not acceptable for movie watching. In evaluating my needs, I realized I would need a speaker with a dual-voltage power supply, as well as something fairly compact. Oh, and it had to be cheap. I knew I wouldn't be getting fantastic quality sound with those limitations. If I was aiming for good quality sound to listen to music, then I would have to greatly increase my budget, opt to buy something much larger, and I'd probably have to settle for something that I could not use while traveling, due to different voltages.I finally realized that something powered off USB was probably going to be my best bet, even though this would limit the power of the amplifier greatly. But for a relatively portable speaker like I was looking for, USB power should be enough to make it loud, at least. Why I chose the Bassbox I am not sure. There were many models in the same price range that seemed to have similar specifications and reviews. In the end, I just like the looks of it. It came down to impulse.First impression, it was much larger than I anticipated. It is still portable enough though. In the picture I am uploading, you can see my 15.6" notebook barely fits on the notebook stand, and the BASSBOX speaker barely fits below the notebook stand with a 4" rise, and hardly any room on each side. Now, does it live up to its advertising? They say something about crystal clear sound treble sound filling a room with music. OK, the sound is crystal clear, but the treble is kind of muted. It can fill a room with music. So I guess that's close enough. Will be suitable as computer speakers. Yup. Especially notebook computer speakers. For a desktop, you would want something larger and with more power.Sleek and unique low profile design. Well, again, I thought it would be smaller. But it's hard to argue with an opinion.Compatible with multiple devices. Yeah, except for almost all smart phones are switching to USB C. But even with USB C, you could run this thing on an adapter of some kind.Plug and play USB powered. Well, there is nothing for a computer to recognize, so that's the ultimate plug and play. And yes, you must connect USB for power or they won't work. The included one-page User Manual lists Frequency response of 90Hz - 20KHz. And that is probably accurate, but it means nothing at all. There is no mention of how that was measured. Was it within 3dB? Probably not, but that is the general standard.Overall, I'd say it delivers on everything it promises, but I don't like the way they list the frequency response, as it is cheating to not say how it was measured. In actual use:This little soundbar has surprisingly accurate / flat sound, within a certain range. VOICE clarity (mid-range) is amazing.Music listening: Well, It's going to be a great improvement over notebook speakers, if for some reason you do not want to use headphones. I would not want this to be my primary monitor for listening to music, though. It's reasonably clear across a wide frequency range. Mid-range could not be better. Bass is surprisingly *there*, although not at a satisfying level. The same can be said for treble, oddly. If you listen to your favorite music, you will note that nothing is really missing. This brings out the low notes and the high notes. But if you listen carefully, you will realize that the lows AND the highs lack the punch necessary to really make music listening enjoyable. If you look at the design of the soundbar, then what you are hearing kind of makes sense. You've got four full-range drivers which are going to excel at mid-range frequencies. You've got nothing dedicated for bass or treble. The four drivers do the best they can. It's acceptable for music, but not particularly enjoyable. For watching movies: OK, here is where I think the true value of this soundbar lies. This is an excellent soundbar for watching movies or television programming. It has just enough bass and treble that you get that full experience, just as the director intended. But in the midrange, the VOICES are amazingly clear. If I didn't know better, I'd say that this thing was designed specifically to enhance voices and dialogue in movies. Movies are a real joy to watch, using this soundbar as a sound monitor. At reasonable volume levels (not disturbing your wife or the neighbors, haha) you are going to hear all of the dialogue of the movie you are watching, quite easily. VOICE frequencies are very well reproduced accurately, and with REAL presence. There is great power/punch in the voices reproduced here.Yes, this thing gets plenty loud (if you turn it up) to fill a large living room for watching movies. And turning up the volume doesn't seem to add much distortion. Not at a noticeable level, anyway. So if you need a small speaker to be loud, here it is. I don't think anybody could complain that this soundbar is not loud enough. To Sum up, this soundbar will not offer a very satisfying experience for listening to music, if that is the primary use. But if you are looking for something to watch movies or television? This soundbar is great for that! Considering the price I paid and the fact that I wanted it mainly to watch movies, I'd say it's a decent value. I would rate it 4 stars, only cutting off one star because the music quality is "just OK".

Looks great!
I'm impressed. For the price point it's an excellent value.I did have to charge it first for it to work on my PC.My bad boy Altex Lansing speakers are now stored in the closet, not because of the quality. But because of all the wires. There may be a few cons but so what....they can't rattle the windowsa little shy on the bassthe cord is a little shortand they are not cased in a wooden box. However the sound quality is excellent for the cost.

P.O.S
So, I have like 15 year old just basic computer speakers, right? And I thought, well just order some basic that's at least a little better than these 15 year old things. Well.... this is worse. My 15 year old ones that I've spilled coffee and god knows what else, sound better than these speakers. They distort even at low volume. I would recommend this product if you had no other choices in the world to choose from to get sound. Otherwise, like go to Goodwill. You'll save $24, a few days, and have a better sound system.
