And I agree that corporal punishment can and probably should be one tool in the Woman's repertoire. It does define the roles and it does have some motivational value. A weekly “maintenance paddling” along with paddlings for infractions will very clearly set the standards. . However, I strongly aver that weekly “Pegging” has a significant motivational role to play as well – only a “positive” one (a “carrot” approach to go along with the above applications of the tawse). . And breaking a man's will by monomaniacal caning isn't going to fly with most men in the 21st Century. But there are sections in the book which are basically a porn novel written from the writer’s experiences. I think this takes away from the books purpose which is to inform about chastity.
