The Click of a Lock: Four Tales of Chastity Kindle Edition

I’m only halfway through and I’m entirely jealous of Carver’s ability to dream up intense situations involving chastity.

I think I've discovered something about myself that I never realized before reading these stories.

Loved this book from page one. As someone who just got into chastity myself, this definitely set some goals I need to aspire to!

I have to be honest: chastity is not at all my thing. I don't identify one bit with a desire to be deprived of orgasms. But I do like the dirty dominant dogs who delight in depriving their (mostly willing) victims by locking them up -- provided their brand of domination and torment doesn't end there. Carver finds a very appealing angle into the psychology of dick containment. It is often unexpected, out of character, and a source of amusement for mostly straight jocks and assorted alpha macho men looking to humiliate, demean and otherwise bring to heel a slightly arrogant or bratty bottom with -- who knew? -- a submissive streak a mile wide. I gather that chastity is a popular fetish among many m/m readers, so you pervs should find this collection very much to your liking, especially if you are as yet unfamiliar with Carver's great body of work. These tales are all very different, and all very arousing each in its way. The psychology and relationships between the different characters are always intriguing and erotic, with just a hint of menace. Carver has a great way of letting the reader understand how his characters are feeling, changing, and accepting their particular needs. All four stories show how a person adapts his life when placed in chastity. There are some humiliating scenes in the story that just grossed me out but other than that I enjoyed the character play between all of the guys.

Unlike some stories that turn into steadily escalating one upsmanship, where the bottom is used in increasingly humiliating ways, the pace of this story keeps it erotic and believable.And like I’d definitely read a part 2 or 3 with these 3 very sexy men- each unique, and each surprises me with how he turns the story. I like that it’s not predictable.
