Why Mars and Venus Collide: Improving Relationships by Understanding How Men and Women Cope Differently with Stress

I love the Mars/Venus books. I love that my husband and I read them together. This book is easy to understand and follow and can really open your eyes to why MEN AND WOMEN ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CREATURES. Once you understand how different you are from the opposite sex, you can start to understand why he/she does what they do and why he/she is the way they are and then you can learn to change how YOU react / respond to them rather than trying to change them. Highly recommend, especially if you and your partner can read together.

Well worth the read. If you can just overlook the stereotypical "assignments" of women & men because in my opinion we all have a bit of androgeny (Where is spell checker on this one?) in each of us and author makes many good points. I have now re-read this book 3x over many years and have bought it to share with 1 friend and also my brother after discussing of course to make sure they knew to disregard the stereotyping and if they merely got 1 thing out of it they'd be ahead; at least that's how I felt.

EXCELLENT read. This man is such a genius. Everyone can benefit from this and all of Dr Gray's books. This one shows you that misunderstandings in relationships are not unique only to yourself, they are common and he explains how to understand each other.

Exceptional book from Dr. Gray. I recommend big time if you have read Men are From Mars Women Are From Venus. There is information that gives clarity on a lot of questions about the sexes.

I believe this book gives a great synopsis of the male/female communication styles. Understanding the dynamics facilitates much more productive conversations. I have referred several married (and single) couples to read the book and have also purchased copies for them. Many times men and women get frustrated with one another because it seems as though they are on different planets. This book helps to take a look at the bigger picture and takes physiology into consideration.

Typical John G book. Not terrible but nit great either. Not one that I would keep on my bookshelf for a reread later on..

Excellent book. Extremely helpful in understanding the opposite sex. Provides nice clear methods and understanding of our differences so we can relate better. Dr. Gray authors many great books but I found this one to be my favorite. Highly recommended.
