good but not distinctive. a solid everyday blend.
This is for the whole bean medium roast. Beware that this product page actually displays several different roasts and blends.Using a medium-fine (3.5/10) grind in an Aeropress with 190° water, consumed black, without sugar or milk:Roast: medium-darkBody: mediumAcidity: mediumFlavor: citrusy, slightly sweet, mild aroma, slight earthiness (especially in the nose)Oiliness: medium-highThis coffee works decently well as a morning default. It's well balanced and lacks any strong characteristics. There's not much to write home about in terms of flavor, but it's also not lacking anything. Not my favorite, but the price is good when using subscribe and save. I like it better than most breakfast blends, but I prefer single source beans that have more distinctive flavors. But buying this blindly off of Amazon without being able to try it first, it's hard to go wrong, whereas buying single bean coffees blindly might mean that you end up with several pounds of bad coffee. This is safe.Note: This coffee does *not* work well with cold brew. Maybe it was just the particular test batch, but all I could taste was earthiness—not the good kind, but muddy like bleh—without any aromatics or acidity. Every other whole bean coffee I've tried works better than this one for cold brew.

I'm particular about pre roasted beans. That's why I buy tiny Footprints.
I admit it - I'm a coffee snob. I roast my own beans whenever I can; however, when I don't, it's only Tiny Footprints. It's a great bean and a consistent roast. The problem with many small coffee suppliers is they are afraid to roast the beans too much - mainly because they aren't as experienced. I don't find that with Tiny Footprints. They know the process. They use great beans. They ship fast. From the time beans are roasted, there isn't a huge window of freshness. I experienced this first when I went to the Dominican Republic. The coffee was great. So I bought that same brand I was drinking there when I got home. Guess what - not nearly the same. In fact, pretty much was Maxwell House. It is important that when the companies roast, that they ship quickly. Tiny Footprints does that. The beans are still alive and bold. That's why I buy this coffee. Plus, I care about the environment a lot, so this is a great match. Well done TF!

Coffee minus Carbon
The coffee is good and for the price/carbon offset it's a great buy. I'm not sure how this company sources their plastic but I wish it came in a more opaque bag or paper bag (IE Dean's Beans). The beans are nice and oily so it seems like they are relatively fresh. Would love to learn more about how they chose their packaging though.

Yum!
I love this coffee - it's the perfect strength for me. I use it in a cafetiere and am so happy to have a delicious cup of coffee every morning. The pack of 2 offers great value. I also like that purchasing the coffee helps to plant trees in Ecuador. And I like that the packaging is not too bulky, is simple and can be recycled. the only improvement for me would be if this company produced a coffee which had more floral notes. That's my personal favorite. But overall it's a win win!

Good Coffee at a reasonable price
I like this coffee a lot. I have been buying everything from starbucks to speeder and earls and I think this is my new go to. The flavor is a little inconsistent from bag to bag but overall a good flavor.

Good coffee; great company!
Having been addicted to Starbucks Gold Coast for years, I am incredibly upset it is no longer being roasted. I’ve tried lots of coffee to find a replacement. I really like the negative carbon footprint with this coffee. I tried one of their dark roasts and although it was good, it wasn’t good enough to buy a second bag. So I tried this organic offer. Although the only coffee that is as good as Gold Coast was is Jamaican Blue Mountain, it is hard to find since the hurricane and cost prohibitive. I’m pleased to say this product will be my go to for a long time to come.

Just Okay
First of all I did not pay attention when ordering. I thought I was buying coffee beans and got ground coffee. My mistake.Second of all I did not properly view the item. No where on the package is there any seals for Organic or Bird Friendly or Rain Forest Alliance, of which is really important to me. Bad me.Third of all, I have been using the ground coffee and I would rate it Ok. Nothing special and takes a lot of coffee to make it a robust cup of coffee. So, I am not impressed with this product and would not order it again. Dissapointed to say the least.

Honest review from a coffee dude
About to purchase my 12th pound of this stuff. I've tried every local coffee shop (I still support my local shops!) and ordered 10-12 other brands. I only purchase organic fair trade beans for at home brew. The dark roast from Tiny Footprint is absolutely delicious. I like bold, dark and rich and its all three. The body and taste never get old to me and its comfort in a mug. I saw some other comments about too much oil or bland taste... Number one, the darker the roast the more oily the beans (so have a grinder thats capable) and number two, if you want more flavor grind the beans to a finer consistency (if that doesn't work, you have a busted palette).
