As an avid black coffee drinker I love this coffee. I find that the level of acidity is correctly proportioned and it does not overpower the drinker. If anything some may consider it a bit weak unless you get the correct proportion of coffee to water fixed to your liking. Since that is truly a matter of taste I can't say that it has anything to do with this product. Personally I blend the decaf and the caff version from this brand to make a 1/2 caff version. It is a large bag and when ground it appears to stay fresh in a canister. I brew a pot of coffee every other day and this bag will last me a couple months when doing 1/2 and 1/2 decaf to caf. I would imagine it would last minimally a month if you drink a pot a day at 3 standard coffee scoops. While I don't generally advocate product in plastic (they do sell smaller bags in the standard paper fold top bags) I do like that if you just clip the corner of this bag it is easy to pour into a grinder and easy to fold over and clip closed. It does not have a resealable open/close option.

Tiny foot print coffee is made by a good company that is carbon negative. They offer several different types of roasts (light, medium and dark) we have been using subscribe and save to enjoy organic, free trade, carbon negative coffee for a while. I personally like the dark roast, it provides a good full bodied coffee with a strong but flavorful finish. My wife does not like the flavor profileas much as I do, which is why we tried the medium roast. We are daily coffee drinkers and found the medium roast to be our favorite with slight notes of chocolate and a smooth finish that gives the desire to drink more than we really should. All in all good coffee be warned that the grading is lighter than most, dark is more of a medium-dark and medium is more of a medium-light roast. We have not tried the light roast so I am unable to weigh in thete. Enjoy the awesome coffee

I have been drinking Tiny Footprint Coffee in the Light Roast Whole Bean for a few months now and like it. I decided to go a little stronger and ordered Medium Roast Whole Bean. I opened my package this morning and dumped my coffee into an air-tight canister and was very disappointed to find I had received ground coffee instead of whole bean. My bad, it states clearly on the package that it was ground coffee, although it is in small print. Thinking maybe I had mistakenly ordered ground coffee, I came to Amazon and checked my order. Nope, no mistake on my part, I had ordered Whole Bean coffee. Since I opened the bag, obviously I can;t return it. I just hope my next shipment is actually the Whole Bean that I ordered.

I waited a week to write this review because these beans took some getting used to. They make a very different cup of coffee from the beans I had been using before. First, these beans are bone dry. I am used to an oily bean. I don't know how to describe the flavor profile. The first week I wasn't sure I liked it. But then suddenly, after a week, I have decided that it is really good. I can't explain why. It just took getting used to. Now I like it and would buy it again. I drink my coffee black without sugar. It is fine that way. Enjoy.

I have been buying this brand for a while. Something has happened with quality and ability to get off amazon. I normally get the dark roast but they were out. I was not impressed. Beans were dry, flavor was off, and it left a cloud in cold coffee that I have never gotten. I went to there website directly and ordered dark roast and am a happy customer again.

I really wanted to like this coffee but..... its a personal taste thing. I like a bolder coffee. This is more towards the sweet side with a lingering taste and just too soft for me. Part of the coffee experience for me is the smell of freshly grinding the beans and these are dry and not fragrant. I give 4 stars because the company has a great ethic.

These is a good tasting medium roast coffee. I prefer dark roast so I am not the best judge. What I like best about this coffee is that it is organic and shade grown. It is very important to me that drinking coffee does not cause the destruction of song bird habitat. This coffee allows me to enjoy a cup of joe.

I read the other reviews and chose this coffee based on them and the fact that they give back for green. The product is very good. My only dislike is that I prefer a bit brigher, this one is smooth and balanced. It did arrive in a plastic bag and not as pictured but that probably made it fresher. I would definitely buy it again.
